UNLIKE CONCRETE TILE, STONE COATED METAL TILE, OR ASPHALT SHINGLES -VEREA CLAY TILE WILL NEVER FADE.
We offer 3 thru color options with our RED, BROWN, and GRAPHITE products. Just about every other brand can only make their tile in red and apply spray on finishes. These brands have difficulty when producing darker colored tile as scuff marks and surface scratches that occur during delivery and install can be very visible even from a distance -Verea avoids this by offering dark thru color options VEREA BROWN & VEREA GRAPHITE. Our spray finish aged red tile options VINTAGE, FUME, ANEJA, and JACOBEA are sprayed on our base red tile and our colors have a 50 year warranty. VEREA CAFE and VEREA SANTIAGO BLEND are sprayed on our VEREA BROWN base color so surface scratches caused during the transport and installation of the tile are barely visible compared to other brands who spray dark blends on red tile.
VEREA PRODUCTS EXCEED THE INDUSTRY STANDARDS BY SIGNIFICANT MARGINS
The ASTM C1167 standard specifications for roof tile are stringent and can be difficult to meet for lesser clay tile brands. Many South American tile lines have a hard time passing the traverse breaking strength water absorption, and permeability tests due to their primitive manufacturing techniques. In recent quarterly tests done on randomly selected Verea barrel tile we had traverse breaking strength results over 1000 lbs when the minimum required to pass this testing is 350 lbs. We will proudly share our most recent quarterly testing results with any perspective clients and challenge you to compare our test results against ANY competitors product (clay OR concrete). You might find that many other brands are not very transparent with their testing results -what could they be hiding?
Verea flat tile are grade 1 products which is the highest grade for clay roof tile and means that they are suitable for areas with repeated freeze-thaw cycles. How does this affect you in a non freeze-thaw climate? -unlike concrete flat tile or inferior clay flats our tile will not develop mildew, stain, or change color after a few years of exposure. Our tile's color permanence is unmatched and you can enjoy decades of beauty without having to do regular maintenance.
The only ingredients used to make VEREA clay tile are clay, water, and fire.
Verea has certified its commitment towards the sustainable management of the company by implementing an environmental management system that meets the requirements of the European EMAS regulations and the international ISO 14001.
Verea tiles are a natural product made of clay and water, which are inert and harmless to the environment.
The most advanced techniques are used during their manufacturing process in order to ensure the optimum protection of the environment, such as using recycled raw materials, firing with natural gas, making use of the energy from the hot air moving from the kiln towards the dryer, or integral computerized control of the production process.
Verea ceramic roofs are highly efficient, offering excellent thermal insulation that minimizes the energy costs of the building. The range of Verea tile finishes makes it possible to create roofs that blend in the environment, with long-lasting colors, which remain unaltered over time and are safe. Verea tiles can help you to obtain points in the LEED® sustainable building classification system.
