COMPANY OVERVIEW

Recycling, reusing and renewing the distinctively beautiful materials from old wooden structures is what Olde Wood Ltd. is today. Owners Tommy and Mandy Sancic started their company in 1997, as a small company of three, and grew it into one of the largest reclaimed manufacturing facilities in the nation. With over 20 years of industry expertise, Olde Wood Limited guarantees you the finest quality in reclaimed and traditional lumber. Our reclaimed flooring is 100% virgin timber reclaimed from wooden structures usually built well over a century ago such as barns and industrial factory buildings. Using antique woods not only creates a more beautiful floor, it is better for the environment because we are not using any new materials from our forests.

Our highly trained and skilled craftsmen ensure you are receiving the finest wood available. For us it starts with our products and ends with your total satisfaction. Hopefully along the way we have become friends and share our joy and passion for the products we make for you.

Our reclaimed and traditional woods are weathered by hundreds of years of wind, rain, sun and snow, which produce an effect that is simply unobtainable with new materials. The advantage of this process is unmistakable, and the result is as genuine as the strength and beauty of these antique woods themselves.

To obtain the absolute finest quality of wood, we at Olde Wood Limited hand inspect and grades all materials before shipping. This insures that all woods from our company will be the best available in the market.

Reclaimed Resawn Barn Beams are custom milled to create a more modern, smooth-surface appeal. We achieve this by running our century-old, reclaimed beam stock through a series of band saws which remove marks of age, surface imperfections and/or irregularities in shape. Milling Profiles image

Milling Profiles

Custom Flooring Options:
Tongue and Grooved: This feature ensures the boards will fit together exactly and makes installation easier. The product will have tongue on one end and groove on the other. The groove fits on top and underneath the tongue to allow for easy installation and secure fit. This milling option is typically used in interior floors, walls, and ceilings.

SHIPLAP:This feature is a finished edge that works well in exterior siding. For shiplap, the board has a profile where it sits on top of the adjacent piece, allowing for expansion and contraction without showing the joint. Shiplap is milled exactly to your specifications.

S4S/S3S RIPPED OR MOLDER RAN: Material with this feature will have straight edges, freshly milled on 3 or 4 sides depending on requests. The side that may or may not be surfaced is the fact. This feature works well for interior wall applications, ceiling treatments, or trim planks.

Custom Barn Siding Options:
TONGUE AND GROOVED: This feature, which is common for our hardwood flooring, can be a requested feature for our barn siding. The barn siding will have tongue on one end and groove on the other. The groove fits on top and underneath the tongue to allow for easy installation and secure fit. This milling option is typically used in interior floors, walls, and ceilings.

SHIPLAP: Instead of tongue and grooved, another method for securing boards is shiplap. This method is typically for exterior siding and provides superior protection against indiscernible gapping. Each board is designed to sit on top of the adjacent piece to allow for expansion and contraction without showing the joint.

Specified Dimensions image

Specified Dimensions

While most wide plank flooring is ordered with random widths, it is possible to order specified widths - a truly select request that will defy what you know about hardwood flooring! Floorboards that are the same width or an assortment of widths can be chosen for a unique hardwood flooring experience. If you have something in mind like this for your project, please call us for information and availability.
Cerusing image

Cerusing

Although our Reclaimed line offers varying color variations, this characteristic can be taken a step further with this process. Our craftsmen stain the hardwood, wire-brush and sand it, then stain it a final time. The effect amplifies the original staining and compliments it with a second coat.
