DURA SEAL™ 500 Fast Drying Sealer

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Dura Seal®™ 500 Fast Drying SeaIer™ is a penetrating sealer designed to seal bare wood before applying Dura Seal™ Polyurethane, DURA SEAL™ Dura Finish Liquid Floor Wax or Dura Seal™ Paste Wax. The fast dry time allows for sealing and topcoating wood floors in a single day. Excellent as a sealer on unglazed tile.

DIRECTIONS:
Floor Preparation:
1. Properly prepare floor according to NOFMA or NWFA specifications. DURA SEAL™ 500 Fast Drying Sealer should only be applied over bare wood or itself. Any finish already on the floor must be completely removed.

Application on Wood Floors:
1. Apply DURA SEAL™ 500 Fast Drying Sealer with a lambs wool applicator or brush at a coverage rate of 600 square feet per gallon.
2. Allow to dry 2 hours or until dry to the touch.
NOTE: Drying time will be increased by high humidity, low temperature, lack of air movement or applying too heavily.
3. Buff with #2 steel wool and remove all excess material.
4. Apply a DURA SEAL™ finish coat of your choice.

Application on Unglazed Terra Cotta Tile:
1. Apply first coat of DURA SEAL™ 500 Fast Drying Sealer with a lambs wool applicator at a coverage rate of 300 square feet per gallon.
2. Allow to dry at least 6 hours.
NOTE: Drying time will be increased by high humidity, low temperature, lack of air movement or applying too heavily.
3. Apply a second coat of DURA SEAL™ 500 Fast Drying Sealer in the same manner as the first repeating steps 1 and 2 above.
4. Buff with a medium stiff scrubbing brush under buffing machine. Remove all excess material.
5. Apply DURA SEAL™ Dura Finish Liquid Floor Wax or DURA SEAL™ Paste Wax according to label directions.

Contains mineral spirits. Harmful or fatal if swallowed. Do not take internally. Skin irritant. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Wear rubber gloves and safety glasses when handling. Avoid inhalation and use only with adequate ventilation. If adequate ventilation cannot be maintained, wear respiratory protection [NIOSH/MSHA TC23C or equivalent] or leave the area. Do not use or store near heat, sparks, flame or other sources of ignition. Close container after each use.

FIRST AID:
If swallowed, do NOT induce vomiting. CALL PHYSICIAN IMMEDIATELY. For skin contact, wash thoroughly with soap and water. If irritation persists, get medical attention. If affected by inhalation, remove to fresh air. If symptoms persist, CALL PHYSICIAN. In case of eye contact, immediately flush eyes thoroughly with water, then remove any contact lenses. Continue to flush eyes with water for at least 15 minutes. If irritation persists, CONTACT A PHYSICIAN.
