DURA SEAL™
Commerical Floor Maintenance
(For floors finished with DURA
SEAL™ Penetrating Finish or
DURA SEAL™
Penetrating Gym Treatment)
DAILY:
Dust Mop. Do NOT USE WATER, SOAP or LINSEED OIL
ONCE WEEKLY:
Buff using a polishing brush or white pad on a low RPM (175) commercial
buffing machine. ONLY when the floor shows signs of excessive
wear and soiling should it be treated with DURA
SEAL™ Renovator Cleaner and Reconditioner,
as follows:
1. Using a brush, Iambs wool applicator or sprayer,
apply a coat of DURASEAL™
Renovator Cleaner and Reconditioner at a coverage rate of
900 square feet per gallon to an area of approximately 100 square
feet.
2. Allow 2-5 minutes for DURA SEAL™
Renovator Cleaner and Reconditioner to act before removing
excess with steel wool.
3. Scrub floor with #3 steel wool and DURA
SEAL™ Renovator Cleaner and Reconditioner
until dirt has been removed from the floor and the surface is
dry to the touch.
NOTE: Periodic changing of the steel wool is essential to ensure
proper removal of dirt and DURA SEAL™
Renovator Cleaner and Reconditioner.
4. Allow to dry at least 4 hours.
NOTE: Drying time will be increased by high humidity, low temperature
or inadequate removal of excess material.
5. If desired, apply a finish coat of DURA
SEAL™ Penetrating Finish.
NOTE: DURA SEAL™
Renovator Cleaner and Reconditioner is neutral in color. For
colored floors mix 4 parts DURA SEAL™
Renovator Cleaner and Reconditioner with one part DURA
SEAL™ Penetrating Finish
color of your choice. DURA SEAL™
Renovator Cleaner and Reconditioner does not require a finish
coat.
