SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS

A Cad processing software package is required in order to view or edit the Arcat details files for a project. Detail files are in two file formats:

        .dwg for AutoCAD (R12 and compatible) or other CAD programs that read .dwg files.
        .dxf for all other Cad programs.

WHAT TO DO AFTER DOWNLOADING

The file(s) you have downloaded are now located in the directory that your internet connection software is located in, unless your internet software allowed you to specify a different directory.

The files are named the same as they were when you downloaded them. If you're not sure, each file is named according to the following rules: the first 5-digits represent the CSI building product category, the next 3-digits represent the product number, and the extension .DWG or .DXF for the two file formats. If necessary copy the files to your CAD directory and delete them from the internet directory.
