Building Products Library Division 03 - Concrete Manufacturers

Material and product manufacturers relating to Concrete are organized by the product or the material into CSI sections. Explore the sections below to gather product data and access downloadable content including CAD files, BIM objects, specifications and much more.

Sections

Concrete Forming and Accessories

A temporary structure that holds the concrete in place until it hardens. The formwork is made from either plywood, steel, aluminum, or other materials that are strong enough to support the weight of the wet concrete.

Concrete Reinforcing

Reinforcing can reduce the amount of concrete needed in a structure, and it can also be used to reduce cracking and other forms of damage. Reinforcing can also be used to improve the durability of the concrete and make it more resistant to weathering and other environmental factors.

Cast-in-Place Concrete

A construction process where concrete is poured into formwork onsite and then cured. It is a popular construction method that is used to create a variety of structures including walls, columns, beams, slabs, and foundations.

Precast Concrete

A form of construction where concrete is casted offsite and then transported to the site for installation. Precast concrete can be used in many different applications such as walls, foundations, columns, beams, staircases, and other structural elements.

Cast Decks and Underlayment

Cast decks are concrete structures typically used for roof decks, planter boxes, and other features in residential, commercial, and industrial construction. Underlayment is a material used beneath the cast deck to provide a smooth, stable surface for the building materials above it.

Grouting

A process used to fill in any kind of voids or voids in a masonry structure or walls. It is often used for filling in cracks and holes in concrete and masonry walls, columns, floors, and other structures prior to the application of a waterproof coating or sealant.

Mass Concrete

Concrete that has a large volume and requires special temperature control. It is used in large-scale civil engineering projects such as dams, locks, and other large foundations.
