          1.5QUALITY ASSURANCE
 
          A.Manufacturer Qualifications: All primary products specified in this section will be supplied by a single manufacturer with a minimum of ten (10) years experience.
 
          B.Installer Qualifications: All products listed in this section are to be installed by a single installer with a minimum of five (5) years demonstrated experience in installing products of the same type and scope as specified.
 
          C.Coordination: Coordinate Work specified in this section with adjacent and adjoining work to ensure best possible weather resistance and durability of completed flashing.
 
          1.6DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING
 
          A.Deliver materials to project site in manufacturer's sealed containers and packaging, bearing manufacturer's name and product identification.
 
          B.Stack flashing materials to avoid twisting, bending, and abrasion. Protect materials from weather before installation.
 
          C.Store mastic materials in sealed containers under cover.

          2.2MASONRY WALL DRAINAGE
 
          A.Mortar Web: 90 percent open cavity wall drainage mat with egg carton shape.
          1.Material: Woven high-density polyethylene (HDPE).

          2.Dimensions: 3/8 inch wide by 1 1/2 inches tall by 3 1/2 inches deep (10mm x 39mm x 89mm).
 
          C.Weep Tubes: Round plastic weep tube which facilitates moisture migration to the exterior of the structure while permitting proper air movement. Install between bricks at locations specified on the Contract Drawings.
          1.Material: Clear Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC).
 
          D.Weep Tubes with Wicks: Round plastic weep tube with polyester / cotton blend rope wick and insect screen which facilitates moisture migration to the exterior of the structure while permitting proper air movement. Install between bricks at locations specified on the Contract Drawings.

          PART 3EXECUTION
 
          3.1EXAMINATION
 
          A.Do not begin installation until substrates have been properly prepared.
 
          B.If substrate preparation is the responsibility of another installer, notify Architect of unsatisfactory preparation before proceeding.
          ** NOTE TO SPECIFIER ** Retain the next paragraph only if Mortar Web is specified.
 
          C.Wall cavities must be less than 1/8 inch (3mm) greater than the specified thickness of Mortar Web.
 
          3.2PREPARATION
 
          A.Clean surfaces thoroughly prior to installation.
 
          B.Prepare surfaces using the methods recommended by the manufacturer for achieving the best result for the substrate under the project conditions.
 
          3.3INSTALLATION
 
          A.Install in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.
          ** NOTE TO SPECIFIER ** Retain the next paragraph only if Mortar Web is specified.
 
          B.Mortar Web Installation:
          1.Install Mortar Web at all flashing locations including but not limited to cavity walls, composite walls, single wythe walls and veneer applications.
          2.Clean debris and mortar from the cavity after the first two courses of brick have been set.
          3.Place one row of Mortar Web in the collar joint or wall cavity.
          ** NOTE TO SPECIFIER ** Retain the next paragraph only if weep tubes are specified.
 
          C.Weep Tube Installation: Install weep tubes flush with outside wall joint and extend inward into wall cavity.
 
          3.4PROTECTION
 
          A.Protect installed products until completion of project.
 
          B.Touch-up, repair or replace damaged products before Substantial Completion.
 
          3.5CLEANING AND ADJUSTMENTS
 
          A.Remove mortar or other obstructions from weep holes.
