Appearance: An extremely dense, tight grained wood. Generally a deep rich brown with some pieces displaying red and amber hues.

Appearance: Color varies from a golden tan to a reddish brown with some dark grain accents through out the wood.

Durability: Cumaru is very durable. The heartwood has shown to be very durable in resistance to both brown-rot and white rot fungi. The wood has excellent weathering characteristics.

Protect installed products until completion of project.

Protect from damage during construction operations. Promptly repair any damaged surfaces. Remove and replace work which cannot be satisfactorily repaired.
