		A.	Regulatory Requirements:
	** NOTE TO SPECIFIER ** Include a mock-up if the project size and/or quality warrant taking such a precaution. The following is one example of how a mock-up on a large project might be specified. When deciding on the extent of the mock-up, consider all the major different types of work on the project.
		B.	Mock-Up: Provide a mock-up for evaluation of surface preparation techniques and application workmanship.
			1.	Finish areas designated by Architect.
			2.	Do not proceed with remaining work until workmanship, color, and sheen are approved by Architect.

	1.6	DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING
		A.	Store products in manufacturer's unopened packaging until ready for installation.
			1.	Label each package with product contents, and stock number of contents, with warranty, installation, handling and storage recommendations enclosed or on packaging. Where manufacturer standard practice does not include all information with the products delivered to project, necessary information will be provided by contact with product representatives, telephone enquiry or online at www.fypon.com.
		B.	Store and protect materials in accordance with manufacturer's requirements for environmental and physical protection as noted on exterior of packaging. Protect from high temperatures such as solar heat in storage trailers exposed to direct sun. Allow at least 24 hours for materials to adapt to conditions at project site prior to installation. Protect from ultraviolet exposure and dirt prior to installation. Store product on flat level surface to prevent warping.
		C.	Store and dispose of solvent-based materials, and materials used with solvent-based materials, in accordance with requirements of local authorities having jurisdiction.
	1.7	PROJECT CONDITIONS
		A.	Maintain environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, and ventilation) within limits recommended by manufacturer for optimum results. Do not install products under environmental conditions outside manufacturer's absolute limits.
	1.8	WARRANTY
		A.	Lifetime Limited Warranty:
			1.	Fypon Cellular PVC and Urethane provides a LIFETIME LIMITED WARRANTY to the original purchaser of the Fypon Cellular PVC material. This LIFETIME LIMITED WARRANTY provides that the Fypon material will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use.
			2.	If a defect is found in a Fypon Trim product and the above conditions have been met, a customer should notify Fypon in writing within thirty (30) days of discovering the defect. The customer may be required to return the product to Fypon (at his or her expense) for evaluation. Fypon will then review the situation and determine if replacement, repair or refund of the product is appropriate. This warranty does not include labor, transportation costs or any other expenses of any kind incurred in connection with the purchase, use or installation of the product. Replacement, repair or refund is the sole and exclusive option under the limited warranty.
			3.	This limited warranty does not cover damages resulting from mishandling in transit (if within the customer's control), acts of God, customer alteration, vandalism, misuse, abuse, improper maintenance, unreasonable care or other causes not arising from defects in workmanship and materials. THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WRITTEN OR ORAL, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR PURPOSE, OTHER THAN AS EXPRESSED HEREIN. No person, agent, distributor, dealer, service facility, or company is authorized to change, modify or amend the terms of this limited warranty in any manner or fashion whatsoever, except to the extent provided in this limited warranty. Fypon, Ltd. shall not be liable to the customer or to any other person for any incidental or consequential damages or loss of profit resulting from any defect in the product.
			4.	Fypon assumes no liability for any damages, including but not limited to personal, property, incidental, or consequential, damages, resulting from the installation of its products. This warranty does not cover painted finishes or coating applied to the product by the original purchaser or any third party. Failure to adhere to Manufacturer's recommended guidelines for application of painted surfaces shall void the warranty.

	2.2	PVC TRIM
		A.	Cellular PVC foam trim and fabricated ornaments: Foam PVC boards, corner boards, beadboard, and fabricated ornaments. These products shall be used in place of other natural and man-made materials shaped or manufactured by other processes for exterior and interior non-load bearing trim. These products are resistant to insect or vermin infestations and resistant to moisture and water absorption.

		A. These products are used in place of other natural and man-made materials shaped or manufactured by other processes. These products are resistant to insect or vermin infestations and resistant to moisture and water absorption.

	PART 3	EXECUTION
	3.1	EXAMINATION
		A.	Do not begin installation until substrates have been properly prepared.
		B.	If substrate preparation is the responsibility of another installer, notify Architect of unsatisfactory preparation before proceeding.
	3.2	PREPARATION
