          1.6DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING
 
          A.Deliver siding in manufacturer's protective cartons and clearly labeled as to specific products contained.
 
          B.During delivery and storage keep siding cartons flat and supported along entire length.
 
          C.Store materials off ground, out of weather, in dry place. Provide ventilation. Protect from falling objects and construction activities.
 
          1.7WARRANTY
 
          A.Upon Completion, provide a Lifetime limited, transferable warranty. In the case of siding purchased by, or installed upon property owned by or in part by corporations, government entities or agencies, religious organizations, trusts, condominium or corporate housing arrangements, intangible legal entities or any other entity or organization capable of an infinite life, the warranty period will be fifty (50) years following the installation of the siding (prorated as indicated in the Warranty Transfer Schedule).

          B.Contact with Dissimilar Materials: Direct contact of aluminum products with certain dissimilar materials, or contact with water runoff from dissimilar materials, is likely to result in corrosion. Accordingly, care should be taken during installation to avoid such contact of aluminum with dissimilar materials, including: dissimilar metals (copper, zinc, steel, etc.), concrete, stucco, asbestos siding, pressure treated/pretreated lumber, masonry, corrosive non-metallic materials, and roofing materials or roofing systems containing metallic granules or strips.

          3.Modulus of elasticity: 10,000 KSI (68948 MPa).
          4.Coefficient of linear thermal expansion: 1.31 x 10 to the minus 5 inch/inch/degree F (2.39 x 10 to the minus 5 mm/mm/degree C).
          5.Melting range: 1175 to 1210 degrees F. (635 to 654 degrees C).

          B.Steel: Fabricate siding, fascia and trim from galvanized steel sheet with G90 galvanized coating complying ASTM A653 with the following properties:
          1.Ultimate strength: 45 - 55 KSI (310 - 379 MPa).
          2.Yield strength: 40 - 50 KSI (276 - 345 MPa).
          3.Modulus of elasticity: 29,500 KSI (203395 MPa).
          4.Coefficient of linear thermal expansion: 0.6 x 10 to the minus 5 inch/inch/degree F (1.09 x 10 to the minus 5 mm/mm/degree C.)
          5.Melting temperature: 2,700 degrees F. (1,481 degrees C).

          C.PVC: Fabricate siding and trim from polyvinyl chloride (PVC) meeting ASTM D3679 requirements for compound class number 2 with the following properties:

          2.Flexural strength tested in accordance with ASTM D790: 14,000 PSI (96 MPa).
          3.Modulus of elasticity tested in accordance with ASTM D638: 410,000 PSI (2827 MPa).
