	PART 3	EXECUTION
	3.1	EXAMINATION
	** NOTE TO SPECIFIER ** The installation of sheathing, vapor retarder, sheathing paper, flashing, and other materials on the exterior walls is normally the responsibility of an installer other than the siding/soffit installer. If not, be sure to include requirements here to the effect that the siding installer must make the wall surfaces weathertight before installing the siding. In that case, it may also be necessary to add product specifications for the relevant materials in PRODUCTS.
		A.	Verify that surfaces on which siding/soffit is to be installed are weathertight and ready for installation.
		B.	Do not begin installation until surfaces have been properly prepared; notify Architect of unsatisfactory preparation before proceeding.
	3.2	INSTALLATION
		A.	Install siding/soffit and accessories in strict accordance with siding/soffit manufacturer's instructions and applicable building codes.
		B.	Install siding/soffit level, plumb and true.
