| A. | Seam Mounting: Place snow guard over roof panel seams in the approved layout pattern. Tighten set-screws with hex bit sockets and 3/8 inch (9.5 mm) drive ratchet until fully engaged. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| B. | Surface Mounting, Adhesive Attachment: Place snow guards in approved layout pattern. Apply sealant to cover the surface of the unit to be in contact with the roof. After positioning unit on roof surface, apply compression sufficient to squeeze the sealant out around the perimeter of unit base. Point up joint around perimeter of unit base with a bead of sealant as required creating a waterproof joint, free of gaps or air pockets. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| C. | Surface Mounted, Mechanical Attachment: Pre-drill holes in base of unit before placing in approved layout pattern. Install as specified for adhesive attachment, screw self-tapping screw fasteners with a neoprene washer through the predrilled holes into the surface of the roof panels. | D. | Tape Mounting: Completely apply tape to underside surface of the unit to be in contact with the roof. Compress tape to eliminate air pockets. Position unit on roof and press against roof surface until entire unit surface makes full contact with no gaps.
