          Ampco was incorporated in August 1961 in Miami, Florida. We have grown steadily over the years and now we occupy over 244,000 square feet at our manufacturing plants in Florida, Tennessee, Texas and Washington and employ over 200 people. We manufacture a full line of Toilet Partitions, using a high pressure decorative laminate, phenolic core laminate, high density polyethylene plastic, powder coated steel, stainless steel and solid surface materials. We manufacture high pressure laminate clad and wood veneer doors and door/frame systems.           B.Product Data: Manufacturer's data sheets on each product to be used, including:
          1.Indicate door core materials and construction; veneer species or high pressure laminate as applicable, type and characteristics; factory machining criteria.
          2.Storage and handling requirements and recommendations.
 
          C.Shop Drawings: Illustrate door opening criteria, elevations, sizes, types, swings, under cuts, special beveling and special blocking for hardware. Identify cutouts for glazing and louvers.

          C.Provide blocking where necessary for hardware reinforcements.
 
          D.Fit door edge trim to edge of stiles after applying veneer facing.
 
          E.Bond edge banding to stile.
 
          F.Factory machine doors for finish hardware in accordance with hard-ware requirements and dimensions.
 
          G.Factory prefit doors for frame opening dimensions identified on shop drawings or frame schedule.
 
          PART 3EXECUTION
 
          3.1EXAMINATION
 
          A.Do not begin installation until substrates have been properly prepared.
 
          B.Verify that opening sizes and tolerances are acceptable.
 
          C.Do not install doors in frame openings that are not plumb or are out-of -tolerance for size or alignment.
 
          D.If substrate preparation is the responsibility of another installer, notify Architect of unsatisfactory preparation before proceeding.
 
          3.2PREPARATION
 
          A.Clean surfaces thoroughly prior to installation.
 
          B.Prepare surfaces using the methods recommended by the manufacturer for achieving the best result for the substrate under the project conditions.
 
          3.3INSTALLATION
 
          A.Install in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.
 
          B.Install non-rated doors in accordance with AWI Quality Standards requirements Section 1 300.
 
          C.Install fire rated doors in accordance with AWI Quality Standards (NFPA-80) and to Warnock Hersey International requirements.
 
          D.Machine cut non-rated doors for hardware. Core for handsets and cylinders.
 
          3.4INSTALLATION TOLERANCES
 
          A.Conform to AWI requirements for fit and clearance.
 
          B.Conform to AWI requirements for maximum diagonal distortion.
 
          3.5ADJUSTING
 
          A.Adjust work under provisions of Section 01700.
 
          B.Adjust door hardware for smooth and balanced door movement.
 
          3.6PROTECTION
 
          A.Protect installed doors until completion of project.
 
          B.Touch-up, repair or replace damaged doors before Substantial Completion.
