          B.Product Data: Manufacturer's data sheets on each product to be used, including:

          2.Storage and handling requirements and recommendations.

          4.Operation and maintenance data.
 
          C.Shop Drawings: Include opening dimensions and required tolerances, connection details, anchorage spacing, hardware locations, and installation details

          1.5QUALITY ASSURANCE
 
          A.Manufacturer Qualifications: Company specializing in manufacturing the types of doors specified in this section, with not less than ten years of documented experience.
 
          B.Installer Qualifications: Company specializing in installing the types of products specified in this section, with minimum of five years of documented experience, and approved by the door manufacturer.
          ** NOTE TO SPECIFIER ** Include a mock-up if the project size and/or quality warrant taking such a precaution. The following is one example of how a mock-up on a large project might be specified. When deciding on the extent of the mock-up, consider all the major different types of work on the project.

          1.6DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING
 
          A.Store products in manufacturer's unopened packaging until ready for installation.
 
          B.Store and dispose of solvent-based materials, and materials used with solvent-based materials, in accordance with requirements of local authorities having jurisdiction.
 
          1.7PROJECT CONDITIONS
 
          A.Maintain environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, and ventilation) within limits recommended by manufacturer for optimum results. Do not install products under environmental conditions outside manufacturer's absolute limits.
          ** NOTE TO SPECIFIER ** Contact the manufacturer for additional warranty information. To comply with warranty, Designer Doors must be finished on all six edges with Sikkens® stain (per manufacturer's application recommendations) or painted with one coat of premium exterior primer and two coats of top quality exterior paint prior to outdoor exposure. Finish must be applied within 10 days of delivery to prevent moisture absorption and possible warping of the door sections.
 
          1.8WARRANTY
 
          A.Designer Doors, 1nc. offers a limited warranty for entrance doors installed in a residential setting (including single-family and facilities owned in common by condominium associations or similar organizations) for a period of two years.

          PART 3EXECUTION
 
          3.1EXAMINATION
 
          A.Verify wall openings are ready to receive work and opening dimensions and tolerances are within specified limits.
 
          B.If wall opening preparation is the responsibility of another installer, notify Architect of unsatisfactory preparation before proceeding.
 
          3.2PREPARATION
 
          A.Clean surfaces thoroughly prior to installation.
 
          B.Prepare surfaces using the methods recommended by the manufacturer for achieving the best result for the substrate under the project conditions.
 
          C.Prepare opening to permit correct installation of door unit to perimeter air and vapor barrier seal. Apply primer to wood frame.
 
          3.3INSTALLATION
 
          A.Install in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.
 
          B.Install doors in accordance with approved shop drawings and the manufacturer's printed instructions.
 
          C.Anchor assembly to wall construction and building framing without distortion or stress.
 
          D.Fit and align door assembly including hardware.
 
          E.Coordinate installation of sealants and backing materials at frame perimeter as specified in Section 07900.
 
          3.4ADJUSTING
 
          A.Adjust door assembly to smooth operation and in full contact with weatherstripping.
