          3.1EXAMINATION
 
          A.Verification of Conditions: Verify openings are in accordance with approved shop drawings.
 
          B.Installer's Examination: Have installer of this section examine conditions under which construction activities of this section are to be performed, then submit written notification if such conditions are unacceptable. Transmit two copies of installer's report to Architect within 24 hours of receipt. Beginning construction activities of this section before unacceptable conditions have been corrected is prohibited. Beginning construction activities of this section indicates installer's acceptance of conditions.
 
          3.2PREPARATION
 
          A.Clean surfaces thoroughly prior to installation.
 
          B.Prepare surfaces using the methods recommended by the manufacturer for achieving the best result for the substrate under the project conditions.
 
          3.3INSTALLATION
 
          A.Install door assembly components in accordance with accepted shop drawings and manufacturer's printed installation instructions.
 
          3.4ADJUSTING
 
          A.Ensure that door assembly components operate correctly in accordance with manufacturer's printed instructions.
 
          3.5PROTECTION
 
          A.Protect installed products until completion of project.
