Taco Metals has been providing innovative ideas in extruded profiles and related products since 1959. Both standard and custom metal railings are available plus an extensive line of glass clamps uniquely designed to hold glass in place by friction, without drilling. Full in-house CAD services are available for custom designs.

          PART 3EXECUTION
 
          3.1EXAMINATION
 
          A.Do not begin installation until substrates have been properly prepared.
 
          B.If substrate preparation is the responsibility of another installer, notify Architect of unsatisfactory preparation before proceeding.
 
          3.2PREPARATION
 
          A.Clean surfaces thoroughly prior to installation.
 
          B.Prepare surfaces using the methods recommended by the manufacturer for achieving the best result for the substrate under the project conditions.
 
          3.3INSTALLATION
 
          A.Install in accordance with manufacturer's instructions and as indicated on drawings.
 
          B.Clamped Glazed Assemblies: Anchor to substrate in strict accordance with tested anchorage system or engineering calculations.
 
          C.Remove protective film promptly from metal surfaces when installation is complete.
 
          D.Clean glass and metal surfaces.
