Maxxon(r), The Floor Specialists is recognized worldwide as the pioneer and leader in floor technologies. Maxxon provides a full spectrum of floor underlayments from the original Gyp-Crete to the Level-Right Self-Leveling Underlayments. Maxxon also offers the Acousti-Mat sound control systems; which are made with 40 percent pre-consumer recycled content. In addition to the Acousti-Mat line, the new Acousti-Mat LP and LPR offer a low profile sound control solution. Maxxon also carries several specialty products including Maxxon DPM-Damp Proof Membrane and Level-Right(r) WearTop - a poured, finished floor that can be stained or integrally pigmented.

Acousti-Mat Sound Control Systems offer a cost-effective means to substantially reduce flooring impact noise, even with ceramic, vinyl and wood floors. When installed, Acousti-Mat Systems create a void area between the subfloor and the underlayment that helps reduce impact sound transmission over concrete by as much as 25 rating points and up to 17 rating points over wood frame construction. Acousti-Mat is fast and easy to install, making it ideal for fast-track projects. After laying Acousti-Mat over the subfloor, Maxxon licensed applicators pour a high-strength Maxxon underlayment on top, completing the system. For new construction or renovation, the Acousti-Mat System is available in six sound control levels: Acousti-Mat I, Acousti-Mat II, Enkasonic, Acousti-Mat 3, and Acousti-Mat LP or LPR. The use of Acousti-Mat I, Acousti-Mat II, Enkasonic, Acousti-Mat 3, Acousti-Mat LPR and Crack Suppression Mat may contribute toward points for LEED project Certification.
