Sound Reducing Floor Underlayments
Impacta™ Underlayments are a new line of products that provides impact insulation solutions for every condition in multi-family residential design. To meet the specified requirement for impact insulations, different systems are required for various types of flooring systems. Impacta underlayment products provide proven field and laboratory tested solutions for floor build-ups in wood frame, metal pan and concrete construction to meet HUD's Grade I "luxury" and Grade II impact isolation building requirements. Impacta underlayment systems are locally reacting systems that are installed above wood or concrete slab. Impacta underlayments are ideal for hotel, condominiums, apartments, office building, schools, or any area where footfall noise is a concern.
.
Underlay System for Linoleum VCT
Impacta™ Jumpax® is a revolutionary and certified "dual" underlayment system, especially designed for stuck down decorative floor coverings like linoleum and vinyl composition tile. The Jumpax system is a free floating sub-floor suitable for commercial and residential use.- The dual underlayment system consists of a composed based board and a top board and is the best underlay system in terms of leveling and impact sound reduction.
.
Underlay System for Hardwood
Impacta™ Soundeater® is the most recent development in the field of sound reducing sub-flooring designed for 3/4" solid and 14-15mm semi-solid hardwood flooring.- Soundeater combines a specially designed tongue and groove impact absorbing soft board with a mating wooden profile.- The profile is placed free from the substrate between the soft boards every 10 1/2".- The top side of the profile-will accept a 2" flooring nail on a 45 degree angle through 3/4" hardwood without touching the sub floor. The result is a totally free floating-hardwood floor.
.
Underlay System for Laminate and Engineered Wood
Impacta™ Redupax® is a certified underlayment system that has been designed to meet the requirements of parquet and wood laminate flooring.- Redupax is made from 100% recycled wood by-product and offers excellent impact isolation, thermal and leveling properties.- The Redupax system is a free floating sub-floor suitable for commercial and residential use.
.
Underlay System for "Click & Fit" Laminate Wood
Impacta™ Redupax+®-is a revolutionary new sound reducing underlay system specifically designed for glue less interlocking laminate flooring - better known as the click and fit' systems.- These click and fit' systems are gaining-tremendous popularity in both residential and commercial markets, as saver of both time and money.- However, our continuing research of the aspects of sound transmission revealed that these "clicked" floors behave differently than the traditional tongue and groove glued laminate floors.- It is because of this that we redesigned the Redupax product to address these concerns, thereby creating the Redupax Plus system specifically designed for glue less "click & fit" flooring.
.
Dual Board Underlay System for Ceramic Tile and Natural Stone
Impacta™ CeraSilence® is a sound reducing underlay systems that has been specially designed for ceramic tile and natural stone floors. Cera Silence is a completely free floating underlayment systems that is comprised of 2 parts.-The bottom board is a 15 mm soft board with a vvp paper layer with an interactive contact adhesive that when removed bonds to the top board.- The top board is a 10mm cement-bonded wood fiber board with an interactive contact adhesive that attaches to the bottom board. Synthetic Cork .
.
Underlayment for Ceramic Tile and Natural Stone
Impacta™ CeraZorb is a new and unique product specially designed to reduce footfall noise under ceramic tile and natural stone flooring. CeraZorb is a porous, closed-cell composite, formed through a patented process of fusing resilient closed-cell polymer beads at their tangent points. Used by the military as an impact absorption media in flight helmets for Navy fighter pilots, Cerazorb withstands repeated stress and absorbs energy while maintaining its strength and structure. Cerazorb's unique structure makes it ideal for dampening footfall vibrations inherent in multi-level condominiums and apartments and assure years of consistent performance.
.
Underlay System for Carpet and Carpet Tiles
Impacta™ Superfloor® is designed to reduce footfall noise under carpet.- Superfloor underlayment has been used worldwide for over 20 years in helping reduce impact noise and extend the life time of the floor covering.-Superfloor is a natural insulation material made from pine and fir tree leaves.- Superfloor offers excellent reduction in both airborne and impact sound, providing outstanding thermal insulation and moisture and mold resisting qualities.
.
Dual Underlay System for Laminate Wood and Engineered Wood
Impacta™ ProZorb underlayment provides a low cost solution for foot traffic noise in condos, homes, apartments and townhouses. ProZorb underlayments have been designed and engineered for use under laminate and engineered wood flooring. Installation of ProZorb underlayment will add comfort, quiet the floor and reduce impact isolation vibration. ProZorb is available in 4' x 100' rolls or 400 sq. ft per roll.
