	SHOWER AND BATH ENCLOSURES

American Bath Enterprises, Inc. manufactures and distributes a comprehensive line of acrylic bath enclosure walls and shower enclosure walls that we call the AmeriWall Enclosure System. The enclosure walls have interlocking and overlapping channels, and are 5/8 inch (15.9 mm) thick, thereby allowing both ease of installation and a final installed product with a high degree of stability. The AmeriWall Enclosure System is available in two wall and three wall configurations in a variety of sizes that meet virtually every kind of bathtub and shower need. Installation of the AmeriWall Enclosure System is simple and can be done within a few hours after the wall has been prepped by sheetrock, green board or other approved material, and after the appropriate plumbing has been installed. The AmeriWall enclosure walls are bright white and have the look of 4 inch (102 mm) ceramic tile with simulated grout lines. They are easy to maintain with mild soap and water, and since there is no grout, will not attract mold and mildew. Over 80,000 AmeriWall Enclosure Systems have been installed in apartments, condos, hotels, and single family residences since 1993. As a more affordable bathroom enclosure system, we have been involved with many renovation projects. American Bath Enterprises, 1nc. also manufactures the enclosures for and distributes a safety bathing system called the AccessaBath. The AccessaBath has been specifically designed to meet the needs of the physically challenged individual with mobility or safety issues. The AccessaBath can be installed in a day, providing comfort and safety to those who require it. We also have window kits.

	1.8	WARRANTY

	2.1	GENERAL

Reinforcement for Grab Bars and Wall Mounted Accessories: Factory-installed minimum 3 inches by 3 inches (75 by 75 mm) steel mounting plates anchored to 3/4 inch (19 mm) thick plywood installed behind sheetrock or code approved wallboard in a manner required to meet load resistance requirements of ASTM F 446.

	2.7	BATHROOM WINDOW KITS
		A.	ow kits have a sill piece and two side pieces and are designed to be installed over a window frame that is flush to the sheetrock. Sills should correspond with the inside width of the window frame. Side pieces are manufactured in one 48 inch (1219 mm) piece, which is then cut to match the height required for the side of the window. Sill and side pieces are designed to be glued to a window frame that has been stripped, is relatively smooth and has a minimum inset depth of 2 inches (51 mm). Sill and side pieces have a rounded bull nose that extends over the surface of the edge of the window sill, window sides and the enclosure wall.
