Metal Arts was established seventy-five years ago in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in a small two-story foundry and finishing factory. In the beginning casting aluminum letters and seals for the United States Postal Service, that soon expanded to bronze plaques and letters for business, government and organizations. Metal Arts had become a successful business in Milwaukee, employing fifteen skilled craftsmen and artisans.
1968 was a year of big changes for Metal Arts. It was purchased by L & H Mfg. Co. and relocated to Mandan, North Dakota. Some of the craftsmen followed the foundry to the new location and passed along the knowledge of quality manufacturing to the new employees.
The architectural signage industry has seen many changes over the years. Metal Arts has kept pace with those changes, expanding in all facets of the business and adopting new technologies. Metal Arts is always searching for better ways to design, cast, and finish the products they produce. Metal Arts has grown to over forty "dedicated" employees, shipping products throughout the United States and around the world.
A quality product is the bottom line and only the finest cast ingot material are used. Good quality material does "make a difference."
Trust, dedication and making a difference are not just words to us, it is the code we work by. We "trust" the products will satisfy your needs, and are "dedicated" to manufacturing excellence. Metal Arts strives each day to "make a difference" in satisfying our customers needs.
