		B.	3 Arm Turnstiles: 3 arm turnstiles are constructed with heavy-gauge materials and bearings. Parts are made of high-grade steel. The hydraulically controlled mechanism smoothly repositions the arm to a closed position after each passage. The main indexing cam is fabricated of Delrin for years of maintenance free service. The arm rotates easily and is engineered to be extremely quiet. All bearings are permanently lubricated. Internal parts are hardened for many years of reliable service. Oil impregnated bronze bushings are used for low maintenance.

	PART 3	EXECUTION
	3.1	EXAMINATION
		A.	Verify that surfaces to receive pedestrian control devices are properly prepared and ready to receive equipment.
		B.	Verify wiring and work provided by others is appropriate for the installation. Notify the Architect if conditions are unsatisfactory.
	3.2	INSTALLATION
		A.	Install pedestrian control devices in accordance with manufacturer's instructions and the approved shop drawings. Comply with ADA requirements as required.
		B.	Prepare surfaces to assure a smooth, level and rigid surface.
		C.	Set fixed equipment with expansion bolts or other devices in accordance with the approved shop drawing.
		D.	Complete wiring in accordance with the approved shop drawings.
