          PART 3EXECUTION
 
          3.1EXAMINATION
 
          A.Do not begin installation until substrates have been properly prepared.
 
          B.If substrate preparation is the responsibility of another installer, notify Architect of unsatisfactory preparation before proceeding.
 
          3.2PREPARATION
 
          A.Clean surfaces thoroughly prior to installation.
 
          B.Prepare surfaces using the methods recommended by the manufacturer for achieving the best result for the substrate under the project conditions.
 
          3.3INSTALLATION
 
          A.Install in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.
 
          B.For masonry walls use expansion bolts or anchors for 1/4 inch (6mm) screws.
 
          C.Electrical service is supplied and connected (by others) prior to installing cover. Cover is secured to back plate with two hex socket security screws (supplied).
 
          D.For compliance with ADA Accessibility Guidelines, unit shall be installed so that bottom edge of dryer is 54 inches (1372mm) maximum above finished floor (AFF) if clear floor side reach access is provided or 48 inches (1219mm) maximum AFF if clear floor forward reach access is only provided.
 
          E.For general utility install unit so that bottom edge of dryer is 45 inches to 50 inches (1143 mm to 1270 mm) AFF. For two or more dryers, dryers shall be no closer than 24 inches (610 mm) on center.
 
          3.4PROTECTION
 
          A.Protect installed products until completion of project.
