The cooling units are designed exclusively for maintaining the ideal environment for the proper aging of fine wines. The unique difference between WhisperKOOL systems and traditional A/C systems is the cooling rate and maintenance of well-conditioned humidity. Traditional A/C systems are designed to cool quickly. This inadvertently removes humidity below acceptable levels, typically resulting in dried out corks, oxidized wine, and a lost investment. With advanced technology, WhisperKOOL systems achieve optimal conditions by sensing actual liquid temperature and cooling the air slowly to maintain 50% to 70% humidity in a properly prepared wine cellar. We manufacturer a full line of cooling systems including self contained "through-the-wall" units, split systems, and fully ducted systems for both private residential wine cellars as well as commercial restaurant projects.

	1.5	DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING

	PART 3	EXECUTION
	3.1	EXAMINATION
		A.	Do not begin installation until substrates have been properly prepared.
		B.	Verify that openings and rough-in have been properly prepared.
			1.	Verify wall opening is ready for installation.
			2.	Verify piping rough-in is at correct location.
			3.	Verify electrical rough-in is at correct location.
		C.	If preparation is the responsibility of another installer, notify Architect of unsatisfactory preparation before proceeding.
	3.2	PREPARATION
		A.	Clean surfaces thoroughly prior to installation.
		B.	Prepare surfaces using the methods recommended by the manufacturer for achieving the best result for the substrate under the project conditions.
		C.	Furnish sleeves for supply and return outlets to installer at appropriate time in construction sequence.
	3.3	INSTALLATION
		A.	Install system in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.
		B.	Install units level.
		C.	Connect controls to remote locations.
		D.	Install condensate drain piping to condensate drainage system.
		E.	Install ductwork as indicated. Provide supply and return out lets where indicated.

	3.4	CLEANING
