Overview:
Buckaroos, Inc. was founded in 1990 in Ames, Iowa. The company has grown to become the leader in the pipe insulation support components. Manufacturing a complete line of pipe insulation support shields, inserts and specialty items, Buckaroos, 1nc. has continued to recognize needs in the market and develop products to meet those needs.

The Buckaroos Tru-Balance Insulated Saddle line is offered in response to the needs of designers and installers seeking a better way to treat the challenging conditions which exist at the pipe hangers and supports within any system. Traditional thermal insulation systems for piping have concentrated primarily on straight runs of piping. Numerous thermal leaks were left at hanger and support locations because of a lack of well-designed products to use at these locations. Trade-offs between compressive strength and thermal performance in the saddle area are common with field-insulated saddles.

Smart designers and installers always seek a better way to provide consistent thermal performance at the numerous support locations within any thermal system. With a variety of insulation types ideally suited for conditions within a particular temperature range, Buckaroos Tru-Balance Saddles offer the correct insulation for every application. Our recommended insulations for most applications are 3# Polyisocyanurate for the wide range of temperatures between - 297 F and 300 F; and high strength Calcium Silicate for high-temperature applications from 300 F through 1200 F. Upon request, Buckaroos can offer custom configurations for nearly any application.

Bare hangers with the associated metal-to-metal contact problems or improperly installed field-insulated shields and supports can compromise the overall thermal integrity of an insulated piping system. By leaving a large amount of under-insulated surface area, traditional methods and materials can increase operating and maintenance costs over the lifetime of the system, especially on cold piping. A properly selected Buckaroos Tru-Balance Saddle will insure superior thermal performance at every hanger and support location. In addition to increasing thermal performance, they also save expensive labor by reducing installation time. This is because every component is pre-assembled in its place, ready to perform; no additional materials such as staples or adhesives are generally required to finish the job. On all sizes and models of horizontal supports, welding during installation is not necessary. No matter which trade jurisdiction the pipe saddles fall under, Buckaroos Tru-Balance Saddles are the choice of smart professionals!
