| | 3.1 | EXAMINATION |
| |
| | | A. | Do not begin installation until substrates have been properly prepared. |
| |
| | | B. | Verify routing locations and termination locations of raceway prior to installation. |
| |
| | | C. | If substrate preparation or interferences are the responsibility of another installer, notify Architect of unsatisfactory preparation before proceeding. |
| |
| | 3.2 | PREPARATION |
| |
| | | A. | Clean surfaces thoroughly prior to installation. |
| |
| | | B. | Prepare surfaces using the methods recommended by the manufacturer for achieving the best result for the substrate under the project conditions. |
| |
| | 3.3 | INSTALLATION |
| |
| | | A. | Install in accordance with manufacturer's instructions. |
| |
| | | B. | Install all components necessary to make a complete, code-compliant installation. |
| |
| | | C. | Raceway systems shall be mechanically continuous and connected to all electrical outlets, boxes, device mounting brackets, and cabinets, in accordance with manufacturer's installation sheets. |

| | | D. | Raceway shall be electrically continuous and bonded in accordance with the National Electric Code for proper grounding. |
| |
| | | E. | Raceway shall be supported at intervals not exceeding 4 feet or in accordance with manufacturer's installation sheets. |

| | | F. | Provide accessories as required for a complete installation, including insulated bushings and inserts where required by manufacturer. |
