SUBMITTALS
A.
Submit under provisions of Section 01 30 00 - Administrative Requirements.

QUALITY ASSURANCE
A.
Manufacturer Qualifications: Manufacturer shall present evidence attesting to at least five years successful experience in the design and manufacture of similar closures.

Welding: Welding shall be performed in accordance with the requirements of the applicable AWS or ASME standards.
C.
Product Quality Assurance:
1.
Perform shop operational test.

Perform shop chalk test.

Maintain environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, and ventilation) within limits recommended by manufacturer for optimum results. Do not install products under environmental conditions outside manufacturer's recommended limits.

Ensure that products of this section are supplied to affected trades in time to prevent interruption of construction progress.
1.10
WARRANTY
A.
Watertight closure shall operate satisfactorily and be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of not less than one year from the date of delivery

REMOVABLE FLOOD BARRIERS

A.
The finished product shall be rigid, neat in appearance, and free from all defects, warps, and buckles. All exposed joints and corners shall be well rounded.

The panel and frame shall be flat within 1/8 inch (3 mm) with a maximum deviation of 1/16 inch (1.5 mm) in any 6 feet (1829 mm) length.
C.
Welding shall be performed in accordance with the requirements of the applicable AWS or ASME standards.

EXAMINATION
