QUALITY ASSURANCE

PART 3 EXECUTION
 
3.1
EXAMINATION
A.
Examine surfaces to receive acoustical panels. Verify surfaces to support acoustical panels are clean, dry, flat, plumb, level, square, stable, rigid, and capable of supporting the weight.
B.
Notify Architect of conditions that would adversely affect installation or subsequent use. Do not begin application until unacceptable conditions are corrected.
3.2
INSTALLATION
A.
Install acoustical panels in accordance with manufacturer's instructions at locations indicated on the Drawings.
B.
Install acoustical panels under clean and dry conditions. Install acoustical panels plumb, level, and square.
C.
Install acoustical panels flat, smooth, wrinkle free:

Install snug to wall surfaces.
