Door Assembly: Door shall be constructed of heavy 10 gauge 2 inch by 2 inch (51 mm by 51 mm) galvanized welded wire mesh welded into 14-gauge 1-1/4 inch by 1-1/4 inch (31.75 mm by 31.75 mm) angle frames; equipped with two steel pin butt hinges and padlock hasps per door.
b.
Outer Door Frame: Outer door assembly shall consist of 14 gauge 1-1/4 inch by 1-1/4 inch (31.75 mm by 31.75 mm) diagonal stiffeners.
c.
Side Panels: Side panels shall be constructed of 10-gauge 2 inch by 2 inch (51 mm by 51 mm) welded wire mesh, welded into 14-gauge 1-1/4 inch by 1-1/4 inch (31.75 mm by 31.75 mm) angle frames. Wire mesh secured to the side angle posts with 1/4 inch by 3/4 inch carriage bolts, flat washers, and flange nuts.

Door latches on three sides using a 3 point 1/2 inch (12.5 mm) locking rod system and includes built-in padlock hasps.

Construction:

Door Assembly: Door shall be bi-parting, center-meeting doors constructed of 3/4 inch (19 mm) #13 flattened expanded metal. Frame is constructed of 1-1/2 inch by 1-1/2 inch (38 mm by 38 mm) 14-gauge steel angle with 16-gauge fender plate and 1 inch by 1 inch (25 mm by 25 mm) 16-gauge steel angle supports. Door latches on three sides using a 3 point 1/2 inch (12.5 mm) locking rod system and includes built-in padlock hasps.

Side Panels: Side panels shall be constructed of 3/4 inch (19 mm) #13 flattened expanded metal welded into 14-gauge 1-1/2 inch by 1-1/2 inch (38 mm by 38 mm) angle, top and bottom.

Frame: Constructed of 11-gauge 1-1/2 inch by 1-1/2 inch (38 mm by 38 mm) angle.
d.
Back: Constructed of 16 gauge Sheet metal.

Top: Constructed of 16 gauge sheet metal.

Top Shelf: Constructed of 16-gauge Sheet metal, flanged for increased stability and with a 5/8 inch round diameter steel hanger rod.

3.1
EXAMINATION
A.
Do not begin installation until substrates have been properly prepared.
B.
If substrate preparation is the responsibility of another installer, notify Architect of unsatisfactory preparation before proceeding.
3.2
PREPARATION
A.
Clean surfaces thoroughly prior to installation.
B.
Prepare surfaces using the methods recommended by the manufacturer for achieving the best result for the substrate under the project conditions.
3.3
INSTALLATION
A.
Install in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.
B.
Install plumb level, and securely anchored to floor and to other structural members where indicated.
C.
Adjust doors for smooth, easy operation.
D.
Units must be level for proper functionality.
3.4
PROTECTION
A.
Protect installed products until completion of project.
B.
Touch-up, repair or replace damaged products before Substantial Completion.
