Planiseal MRB (Moisture Reduction Barrier) is a two-component, solvent-free fluid-applied breathable epoxy coating. It is specially formulated to treat highmoisture vapor transmitting concrete surfaces, [up to 12 lbs./1,000 sq. ft./24 hours (5,44 kg/92,9 m2/24 hours)] as determined by a Calcium Chloride Test (per ASTM F1869). Planiseal MRB is designed to reduce the moisture vapor transmission of a treated concrete substrate by a minimum of 75 percent. Planiseal MRB is a factory-proportioned kit. The mixed material is easily installed at the recommended coverage rates with a paint roller or paint brush. Since the material is water-based, it is nonflammable and has low odor. Planiseal MRB is formulated to overcome the traditional problems associated with adhesives, repair mortars and coatings over concrete substrates with high moisture vapor transmission. When installed per the recommendations, Planiseal MRB provides an effective barrier against constant moisture, extreme alkalinity, high moisture vapor transmission and osmotic pressure. Uses:
