SINGLE PANEL PARTITIONS

Acousti-Seal 931 - Single Panel Partition - 3 inch (76 mm) thick panels:

Acousti-Seal 941 - Single Panel Partition - 4 inch (102 mm) thick panels:

MOVEO Operable Partition - Single Panel Glass Partition , 4 inch (102 mm) thick panels:

Glass available up to 13 feet (3962 mm) tall.

Glass Panel Construction and STC Rating: Nominal 4 inch (102 mm) thick in width and height as
required. Horizontal and vertical framing members shall be fabricated from aluminum extrusions and
mechanically fastened. Frame shall be designed to minimize exposure on face of panels.

Panel Faces: 5/16 inch (8 mm) glass on one face and 3/8-inch (10 mm) glass on the other face,
mechanically fastened and sealed in frame.

Fabrication: Clear anodized aluminum slats suspended on nylon ladders.

Installation: Install between panes of glass.

Operation: Raising and tilt of slats shall be electrically operated. All blinds in an operable partition
shall operate in unison.

Non-glass available up to 29 feet- 5 inches (8966 mm) tall.

Solid (Non-Glass) Panels: Horizontal and vertical framing members shall be fabricated from aluminum
extrusions and mechanically fastened. Frame shall be designed to minimize exposure on face of panels.

Panel Faces: 3/8-inch (10 mm) thick medium density fiberboard continuously bonded to aluminum panel
frame.

Panel Seals and Closures:

Vertical Seals: Extruded aluminum with interlocking convex/concave astragals with resilient quad-lip
gaskets. Rigid plastic astragals or astragals with gaskets on only one panel edge are not acceptable.

Horizontal Top and Bottom Seals: Modernfold ComforTronic. Seals shall operate electrically without
tools or cranks. They shall extend when partition is in expanded position and exert adequate force
to acoustically seal top and bottom of panels. Seals shall retract when partition is being closed to
provide 7/8-inch (22.2 mm) operating clearance.

Acoustical Gaskets: Polyurethane.

Locations: Provide on all panels and pass doors.

Jambs: Expanding Jambs

Motors: Low voltage, overall system UL listed. System wiring shall be plenum rated.

Intersecting Partition Interface

Suspension System and Soffits:

Modernfold G-150 Suspension System

Track: Extruded aluminum. Finish: Pre-painted off-white. Supported by adjustable steel hanger
brackets, supporting the load-bearing surface of the track, connected to structural support by
pairs of 3/8 inch(9.5 mm) diameter threaded rods.

Exposed Track Soffit: Metal, removable for service and maintenance, attached without exposed
fasteners and pre-painted off-white.

Carriers: Two stainless-steel trolleys for each panel with vinyl tired ball-bearing wheels, with
suspension system with automatic indexing of panels into stack area using pre-programmed
switches and trolleys without electrical, pneumatic, or mechanical activation.

Modernfold No. 14 "Smart Track" Suspension System

Track: Minimum 0.18-inch (4.57 mm) thick formed steel track with adjustable steel hanger
brackets supporting the load bearing surface of the track, connected to structural support
by pairs of 1/2 inch (13 mm) diameter threaded rods.

Soffit: MDF, removable for service and maintenance, attached to track bracket with exposed
fasteners, and pre-painted off-white.

Carriers: Metal trolleys with four steel tires.

Suspension system shall provide automatic indexing of panels into stack area using pre
-programmed switches and trolleys without electrical, pneumatic, or mechanical activation.
