Natural wood variations may cause noticeable color and grain differences between these samples and your finished casework. These variations are the natural expression of nature, making each component differ slightly in grain, texture and color. There is a regression to the mean, in terms of color, that woods tend to follow. Consequently, a reasonable tolerance must be allowed in the finish samples as well as the finished product.
