This section assumes that the basic sizing of the equipment has been done before execution of
the contract for the work. If an HVAC contractor is providing the system directly to the
building owner, the capacity statements below should be filled out by the contractor based
on his design before submitting the spec to the owner for approval. If an engineer is preparing
the design for bidding by contractors, the capacity statements would be filled out by the
engineer. In either case, the design of the duct layout and details of installation are the
responsibility of the contractor, based on Unico's recommended design procedures.
