ALUCOBOND® Plus

As the original aluminum composite material, ALUCOBOND® Plus has been developed exclusively to allow architects and designers to meet the fire performance requirements of today's building standards while using ACM as the material of choice. Consisting of two sheets of smooth 0.020” aluminum thermo-bonded to a solid, fire retardant core.


ALUCOBOND® Plus is one component of the assembly that meets the requirements of fire classifications while offering the proven product properties such as flatness, form-ability, durability and ease of fabrication.

The Classic Palette represents the most popular ALUCOBOND® colors. All are stocked in ALUCOBOND® Plus 4mm thickness, in various standard sizes, with afire retardant core. These colors are also available in ALUCOBOND® Axcent -0.040” flat aluminum sheet with no core. When specifying micas and metallics, panel directionality must be considered for estimating, fabricating, and installation.

The Inspirational Palette represents a selection of custom colors and finishes designed to inspire creativity. Ask your salesperson about our five Class 1 anodized colors. Panel samples (approximately 5" x 7") are available by request. When specifying anodized, panel directionality must be considered for estimating, fabricating and erection. It is advisable to order all panels at one time for best results.

ALUCOBOND® Plus naturAL Series mimic the beauty of real surfaces, patterns & textures found in nature to enhance the design of your architectural project.These colors amplify the inherent beauty and character of natural elements like wood, stone, and metal in an effort to unite building with nature. When specifying a naturAL finish, panel directionality must be considered for estimating, fabricating, and installation. It is advisable to order all panels at onetime for best results, as finishes may vary slightly from batch to batch. Colors area digital representation - please request a physical sample for true color match.

  • Meets or exceeds the performance requirements of AAMA 620
  • Available at a moderate premium over PVDF - 2 coat
  • Contains Lumiflon® resin
