Since 1905 Putnam Rolling Ladder Company has been manufacturing custom made rolling ladders. Great for homes, home libraries, offices, stores and lofts. Each rolling ladder is custom made to your specifications in oak, ash, maple, cherry, mahogany, walnut, birch and teak. Other woods and 16 different stains are available. Track and hardware come in numerous finishes including black, brass plated, chrome plated, antique brass, satin nickel, brushed chrome, oil rubbed bronze, polished nickel, pewter, copper, as well as others.
Decorator Stools are also available in the above hardwoods at various heights from 13" to 42". Also available are rolling platform ladders, pulpit ladders, folding library ladders and library carts.

No. 1 Rolling Ladder
Our famous No. 1 Rolling Ladder is made of best grade red oak, which is filled and varnished. Steps are screwed to rails, not nailed, and rods are placed under each step, for greater strength. Oak, ash, birch, maple, cherry, mahogany, and walnut woods are available, among others. Hardware and track come in black, brass plated, chrome plated, antique brass, brushed chrome, sating nicekl oil rubbed bronze among others.
