Armortex® has been manufacturing Bullet, Blast and Forced Entry Resistant products for more than thirty years. Our product line includes Armortex® brand fiberglass composite panels, glass and containment glazing, fixed windows and transaction windows, pass-thru transaction equipment (drawers, hoppers, dip trays), speakers, gun ports, gun lockers and man traps. We also fabricate wood and hollow metal doors as well as aluminum storefront systems and related security equipment.
Armortex® products are widely used in courtrooms, government and corporate offices, banks, convenience stores, police stations, military bases, check cashing facilities, cashier booths, prisons and any place where ballistic and attack resistant products are required. U.S. Dept of State FE/BR thermally broken aluminum windows and steel doors are also available.

Armortex® Bullet Resistant doors and frames provide the very highest protection while accommodating all door and glazing styles and sizes. Prehung with a heavy-duty continuous hinge, Armortex® bullet resistant doors are available in any configuration. Wood doors are available in protection levels UL 1-8. Hollow metal doors are available in protection levels UL 1-8 including armor piercing and .50 caliber.
Armortex® is the original manufacturer of UL Listed Bullet Resistant Fiberglass Panels. This material is manufactured using a woven roving ballistic grade cloth we manufacture in-house. The cloth is mechanically injected with resin and placed in a hydraulic hot press, then pressed into flat rigid panels that come in 3² and 4' widths and 8', 9' and 10' lengths. By using an anti-ballistic grade fiber in our panels, we can maximize our ballistic performance by consistently achieving a uniform resin to fiber ratio. This allows the proper ply delamination to encapture projectiles.

Steel blast doors are available in pre-engineered or custom engineered designs. These steel blast doors can also include bullet and shrapnel protection as well. Blast door applications may vary from UFC requirements to long duration incidents such as vapor cloud blasts that are typical in the petro chemical industry. Aluminum storefront doors are available in designs up to 10 psi.
Armortex® FE/BR 15 minute fixed windows are rated and tested to 15 minute in accordance with SD-STD01.01, Revision G. Constructed of Armortex® 625 thermally broken 2' x 6' anodized aluminum framing system. Available fixed 15 min FE/BR aluminum windows GWV-15A-ARM-01 (750mm x 1500 mm) and GWV-15R-ARM-01A (1500mm x 2250mm).
Armortex® FEMA 361 single and double steel door assembly tested to compliance FEMA 361, and ICC 500-08 ICC/NSSA Standard for the Design and Construction of Storm Shelters. Intertek Testing Services NA Inc. Middleton, WI conducted testing for single and double in swinging steel door assembly, for Tornado Resistance.

Scuff-Tex panels are corrosion and rust resistant A- easily attached to an existing wall surface with drywall screws or similar fasteners. Standard dimensions available in 36A" (914mm) and 48A" (1219mm) widths and lengths up to 120A" (3048mm). Nominal thickness is 1/8A" (3.2mm).
Armortex® Passive Natural Voice Port Covers are available in bullet resistant designs for levels 1 thru 8. They are designed to accommodate glazing thickness of 3/8' or greater and mounting hole 4³ to 6³ in diameter. A stainless steel anti-contraband device is available and comes in a brushed stainless steel finish. Armortex® also has available a variety of electronic talk-thru communication devices designed to install in windows or on counter tops. The Electronic window units are available with ballistic protection Levels 1 thru 3.
Transaction Deal Trays are rolled and formed from 16ga stainless steel with a #3 satin brushed finish and can be lined with HI-Hard ballistic steel to meet ballistic protection requirements. Recessed trays RMDT are designed to install into a cut out of 2³ high counters with a caped glazing cap running across top middle. Surface mount trays SMDT are mounted on top of a counter in a teller line application.
Armortex® Steel Package Receivers are utilized as a package pass between a secure and non-secure area. The body is constructed of 12 ga. prime painted steel, Interlocking door system, stainless steel exterior door, door lock and installation flanges are standard features. Custom view lites can be installed in one or both doors to observe packages being passed. Optional stainless steel drip cap for exterior installations is also available Standard size are 18³ x 18³ x 18'. Customs sizes and configuration available with ballistic protection levels 1 thru 8. Armortex® Transparent Package Receivers offer complete visibility of all transactions and designed to install on counter top. Features include interlocking door system which prevents the simultaneous opening of both doors, automatic door closer on the exterior door and an optional security latch to prevent the forced entry through the inside door during 'non use' periods. Customs sizes and configuration available with ballistic protection levels 1 thru 3 only.
Armortex® Cart passes are designed to transfer material on wheeled carts from one room to another allowing access to only one room at time. Interlocking door system allows only one door at a time to be opened. Cart passes are constructed of prime painted steel and ship fully assembled with hinges, lockset, transformers, electric strike, door pulls. All cart passes are manufactured to dimensions required to accommodate customer's equipment with ballistic protection levels 1 thru 4 available.
