Solomon UltraFiber 500 is an alkaline resistant cellulose fiber reinforcement for Commercial and Residential Slabs, Composite Metal Decks, Paving, Pervious Paving, Curb and Gutter, Slip Form, Architectural and Decorative, Shotcrete, Wall, and White Topping applications. UltraFiber 500 provides excellent secondary reinforcement, is safe and easy to use, and provides superior finish-ability. It can replace traditional secondary reinforcement while improving durability, impact resistance, shatter resistance, and freeze/thaw resistance. Bonding between rebar and cement paste is improved while concrete permeability and absorption is reduced. Unlike Polypropylene fiber, UltraFiber 500 is invisible in concrete, does not ball, fuzz, or blemish. It yields and aesthetically perfect finish with no special finishing practices. Also, unlike Polypropylene fiber, UltraFiber 500 is derived from renewable resources.

Lythic Day1 is a colloidal silica-based compound that acts as a trowling aid, curing agent, and a substituted for a membrane-forming curing compound. It is shipped as a concentrate and diluted with water at a 4:1 ratio to make a working solution with a coverage of approximately 1000sf/gal. The solution is spray-applied to freshly laid concrete before it is worked by the power-trowel. Lythic Day1 reacted with the calcium hydroxide in the concrete to form additional CSH, becoming a permanent part of the slab surface. It does not form a film or membrane and reduces drag, increasing the speed of the power-trowel.
Surface Deactivator makes exposed aggregate finishes easier and more consistent. It is topically applied to freshly-placed concrete to prevent cement paste hardening and achieve more controlled exposed aggregate finishes. Unlike sugar-based retarders, Surface Deactivator selectively halts the hydration process down to a controlled depth, allowing a more certain level of retardation. Ten predetermined color-coded exposure depths are available to provide consistent, repeatable cement paste removal and aggregate reveal. Surface Deactivator provides a longer window before the surface paste must be removed, allowing underlying concrete to harden properly, locking in aggregate, and reducing pop-outs. Surface Deactivator is water-soluble for easy removal with high pressure water washing and scrubbing equipment.
All Pigments used to manufacture ColorFlo SG meet or surpass the requirements of ASTM C979-05 including water wettability, alkali resistance, curing stability, and lightfastness.

Advantages of UltraFiber 302 Fiber Blend: ACI 302 recognizes the benefits of using a natural cellulose micro fiber and steel fiber blend to reduce early age plastic shrinkage and provide long term crack control.
