Push Button Vehicle Restraint - Stop-Tite®
The Stop-Tite® AAL (automatic operation, automatic lights) vehicle restraint is operated with push button activation (115V/1PH). It comes equipped with a RIG sensor bar that notifies dock workers if the restraint's arm is not securely engaged with the trailer's Rear Impact Guard.
Manually Operated Vehicle Restraint - Stop-Tite® M, MML & MA
The Stop-Tite® M, MML & MAL are all manually activated vehicle restraints via an operate handle. They have a low profile, non-impact design for wall and driveway mount. All three (3) types have a protective debris guard and a Zinc dichromate finish.
Vehicle Restraint - UniChock
The UniChock is a wheel-based trailer restraint with advanced light communication and available as a standalone unit or integrated with other dock equipment. This universally effective chock helps prevent unexpected trailer departure or movement from the loading dock during the loading process.
iDock™ Controls
Reliable loading dock levelers and vehicle restraints from McGuire can now be equipped with iDock™ Controls. These technologically advanced controls provide an efficient interface with membrane dome button technology for ease of use and an interactive message display for valuable equipment usage, instructions, notifications and other information. iDock Controls also have a 3-color light communication combined into one large LED light assembly to clearly indicate the conditions of the dock.
Once installed, connect these controls to the cloud with iDock Connect, a web-based software for loading dock analytics. Monitor dock activity online and receive text/email alerts of various events that occur at the docks.

Loading Dock Design and Equipment Selection
A loading dock must be properly designed for safety and the efficient movement of product over the dock. This course outlines some of the basic design considerations for the site and the loading dock, and examines the selection criteria for four dock equipment categories: gap bridging (dock levelers), safety, weather protection, and lighting equipment.
