Vinyl Drywall Accessories and Beads
Trim-Tex has been designing and producing the industry's finest and most innovative line of vinyl drywall accessory products for over 40 years. Besides being economical, vinyl drywall accessories are more flexible and durable than metal and will not rust, kink or dent.
Trim-Tex coined the phrase "drywall art", which accurately describes the adaptive use of materials and accessories to enhance the standard flat and squared edged world of drywall. Drywall art can be found in a variety of forms, including decorative archways, rounded edges, and even reveal effects such as shelves and stepped ceilings.
Trim-Tex doesn't just make decorative products. Trim-Tex is the industry leader in creating products designed to solve common drywall finishing problems. Our patented Magic Corner solves cracking problems on inside off angle corners, cathedral and tray ceilings. In fact, Trim-Tex has acquired over 15 patents for our innovations.
Trim-Tex design engineers continually work through research and development to update and improve products and materials. They are readily available to answer any application questions or help with design ideas.
Our manufacturing facilities located in Lincolnwood, Illinois are the most modern and efficient in the industry. With more than 220,000 square feet of production and warehouse space, Trim-Tex inventories over 60,000 boxes of product at all times for same day shipment. Our state-of-the-art computerized inventory system gives us up-to-the-minute data, guaranteeing quick and accurate handling of your orders.
Trim-Tex provides the products to make your creative ideas come to life, from free flowing walls and ceilings to multilayered effects and more. Design freedom is finally yours... "drywall art" is now a reality!

Much like its firestopping counterpart, Fire Gasket, Sound Gasket is a fairly foolproof accessory, easily installed and easily inspected. Sound Gasket will provide you the same STC rating as acoustical sealant, with none of the drawbacks. Once installed, you've got a soundproofing solution built to last.
Sound Gasket provides an unbreakable seal against uneven surfaces and remains permanently flexible for the life of the assembly,
Deep rigid "V" is joined at the bottom with a flexible connection allowing a full ⅜" in controlled movement. Pink coloring quickly indicates to inspectors that the product is fire rated. Listed under U300 and U400-Series Wall or Partition Design in the UL Fire Resistance Directory

They save so much time and labor. One example is the Buttboards. They've been out for a while, but we just started using them last year on all our houses. You don't have to run the butt joints. You can just cut 4 sheets all the same, put them up, install the Buttboards, and you're done. It's a tremendous time saver. So are the tear away beads.
