The wide range of motors we offer differ in lift capacities, voltage/current, motor diameter, control features, and operating noise level. Sometimes there are existing factors, such as pre-wiring, that will help shape your selection of a system. Motor length can also be a factor in the selection process if your windows aren't wide enough for a particular motor. Aside from physical considerations, the available features of a motor series and how it will be interfaced or be controlled will really help narrow the options. For instance if you want to be able to control and monitor the motorized shades from a Smartphone, Tablet, or PC there are still several options to choose from, but the choices have been honed down to a select few.
Offering the widest array of lift capacities, starting with 4Nm (Newton meters) of torque capable of lifting 35 lbs. and going all the way up to 80Nm of torque to be able to lift up to 700 lbs.
We offer the latest options in radio technology and accessory components. Radio Technology Somfy (RTS) is a reliable single-transmission signal that works with a wide array of motors and accessories with built-in RTS, including sun sensors, timers, and multiple control points.
The system uses industry standard wiring and cable, so not only will this system save on the amount of copper wire and conduit needed, but also the wiring and wiring practices are non-proprietary and familiar to electricians and general contractors.
Motorizing shades is the state of the art way to control the interior environment of commercial, hospitality, institutional and residential installations. The superb styling of these shading systems offers the ultimate in sun protection and temperature control.
Solar panels have been around for a long time and typically are made up of wafer-based crystalline silicon cells. Panels based on a silicon composition are rigid as a result and need direct sunlight to be able to generate power, hence the term Solar Panel. This hasn't worked well for window coverings that are installed on the interior since glass coatings and other obstructions lessen the amount of direct sunlight an interior-mounted panel could receive.
A recently announced breakthrough in photovoltaic (PV) technology changes everything. The magic is a solar photovoltaic (PV) panel that doesn't need direct sunlight to generate energy. DSSC, or dye-sensitized solar cell, is an exciting development in PV technology that uses a system similar to how plants convert light into energy in photosynthesis. So DSSC panels are able to generate power in low light conditions where silicon-based solutions can't, and will start creating energy at sunrise and will continue throughout the day even behind coated glazing.
Animeo IB+ Building Automation - enables the automatic control of all interior and exterior window treatments.
This skylight sun control system is a non retractable louver system that can be mounted on any plane of any angle, curved conditions and unusual shape window configurations. These precision systems are designed to perform with maximum efficiency. The tilt angle is from 0-90 degrees angling from fully open to fully closed.

Motorizing skylight and angle openings with an FTS allows complete control, using solar shading or blackout fabrics. Fabric tension systems hardware consists of dual motorized tubes, fabric secured between 2 tubes with cable or industrial webbing. Standard FTS Systems have fabric rolling off the top of the tube (closest to the window) with the motors R/R. Motor speed is 20 RPM. The controller operates each motor independently to maintain the dynamic (moving) tension. The final (static) tension is then set to eliminate sagging when the fabric is fully closed.
An immediate increase in the overall health of the work environment is realized from having more natural light to work by, reduced glare at computer monitors, and a view to the exterior to reduce eye strain. Energy savings are also evident since lighting can be dimmed to blend with the natural daylight and climate control costs are reduced as light is reflected before it turns into interior heat.
Architecturally stylish shades available in solar, woven woods, bamboo, grass, some blackout material and customer's own material. Available as both Manual and Motorized operation. Roman shades can be heavy, so motorizing larger Roman Shades may be required.
We offer Motorized Drapery Tracks for the majority of sizes and applications, including custom bends and recessed tracks.
Our panel glide offers contemporary styling with simplicity of function and design. There is virtually an unlimited fabric selection when using a panel glide system. Ideal for sliding glass doors and large expansive windows, the panel glide offers an alternative to having roller shades at the top of the window, it requires just a low profile track instead. The panel width and stack size can be custom sized so panel overlap will line up on window frames or stack off of the window.
When selecting shade fabric it helps to narrow your choices by first choosing the percentage of openness that best suits the space and exposure. Next deciding on a light vs. a dark colored fabric. Then finally picking a color range to simplify your decision on the fabric choices that remain. From here specific fabric details can be considered including the weave and exact color match.
When considering larger sized shades 78" or wider, you may start by considering the available fabric roll widths to see if it is possible to avoid railroading and seaming the fabric. Composition of the fibers used in the weave and special features of the fabric could also be the starting point in the search for the right fabric, it all depends on your application.
Introducing Skyco's exclusive line of extra wide-width blackout fabric.
The Midnight Sky Collection featuring:
• 130" width rolls !
• 10 designer colors:
• Reduced fabric weight and thickness to allow for larger shades with smaller roll up diameter.
The Renson ZipShade® is the ultimate value in exterior sun protection since it performs several functions, including sun, wind, and bug protection. The secret is in the locking zipper side channel. Originally created for Japanese bullet trains, when speeding though tunnels pushing a shock wave of air that would blow roller shades out of their side channel. Now perfected for exterior use, the zipper fabric lock keeps the shade flat and smooth, and seals the edges keeping bugs out. It can even keep golf balls from breaking windows.
The innovative Panovista and Panovista MAX motorized shading systems are the perfect solution for screening butt-joint glass corner windows or sliding door systems that meet in a corner. Both systems allow no hardware in the corner, no guides or tracks, preserving the view and openness. The Panovista
achieves the smallest possible gap between where the two shades meet in the corner, this system is ideal for butt-joint glass corner windows.
The Panovista MAX incorporates a zipper that automatically closes that gap completely as the shade is operated up/down making this system the one to use for sliding doors in a corner since it will block the sun, wind, and bugs from getting in.
The Renson Algarve motorized louver structure is the ultimate modern solution for shading your deck or patio. With Renson engineered quality the system is ideal for coastal areas due to its high wind resistance, waterproof blades, and low-maintenance construction. All aluminum with stainless steel fixings and a 10 year warranty on the custom powder-coat will keep it looking new for many years.
The Renson Camargue is similar to Algarve in that it offers the operable louvered roof, but it exhibits the next level of engineering with it's integrated motorized shades and other innovative options. The Camargue structure is better suited for combining systems into larger structures and it also features hidden fasteners, integrated wiring, and concealed footing attachment.
The newest Skye structure is the most exclusive louvered roof yet, a roof that consists of rotating and retractable aluminium blades, giving shelter against sun, rain and wind. In summer the hot air will be ventilated by opening the blades. The retractable sliding roof blades stack to the back leaving the leading edge open unlike other systems. All fasteners, electric wiring and footings are invisibly integrated in this type of terrace covering. Integrated LED lights in the columns, roof blades or upper profiles and heating elements with flat panel speakers are possible to customize your Skye structure.
The Renson Lagune structure offers the most flexibility since the roof retracts completely when open, but when closed it seals out rain, wind, sun, and bugs. The
Lagune isn't a stand-alone structure, so it needs a wall for mounting. The waterproof translucent roof fabric keeps you dry and shaded, but still allows light to pass through to maintain an open feeling even when closed. Renson's ingenious gutter system is incorporated in the the operable front load bar of the shade to catch any water as it flows down the slope. The water then is directed through the front bar and into the sides and down the forward columns. So even as it opens it is shielding you from rain and channeling the water away. Options include shades for the sides for a bright, comfortable, enclosed space that can still be open and airy at the touch of a button.
