Construction

Each tower in the system is comprised of movable panel wings that lock into place, allowing for configurations that can accommodate groups of varying sizes. Its all-aluminum, lightweight construction combined with an easy-to-use wheeled mover makes transporting and storing towers a simple and efficient process.

The Caprice® Folding Acoustical Shell Tower was specifically designed for performing art centers and educational facilities with limited storage space. Offering great value and acoustic performance, the Caprice® conveniently folds down from its performance height to a reduced, compact height permitting it to fit through a standard doorway.

Folding & Transport

The Caprice's unique folding design is made possible with integrated gas spring assistance. Equipped with four swivel casters, moving and positioning the Caprice is simple and is a great multi-purpose solution that can be a stand-alone product, or as part of a full stage system. No tools are required.

Heights

Available in two heights, 12′ and 16′, the Caprice offers hassle-free movement. When in its folded position, the 12' high performance shell can fit through a standard 36" W x 80" H doorway; and the 16' high shell can fit through a 48" W x 9'6" H doorway. The Crescendo Acoustical Shell was designed with balance and practicality in mind. Users can easily move and reconfigure the shell with the system's wheeled mover. Safety

Ascent glass windscreens can handle 80 PSF of wind loads, which means you can install them at much higher altitudes than your average screen. Each windscreen is a standard 6' tall but the height can be customized. Increased height means extensive coverage for patrons and furniture in your gathering space.

Structure

The aluminum and steel we use to construct your windscreen provide the framework for a robust final product. Specifically, the steel stanchions and snap-fit posts help support the glass infill and pressure plate. We finish it off with silicone and screws, making your glass windscreen secure and polished.

Glass Options

Ocula features stainless steel clamps suitable for interior or exterior applications and can be paired with view-optimizing clear glass for a barely-there look, or frosted or fritted glass for enhanced privacy.

The Gridguard platform guardrail series is available in a variety of wire mesh, perforated, and other infill materials to achieve an architecturally artistic look. The standard Gridguard is made with 1/4" diameter, 2x2 mesh or 1/8" perforated panels with 3/8" diameter holes. Custom mesh and perforated metal is available upon request.

Our lightweight aluminum and steel Crowd Control Barricades makes it easy to secure the perimeter of a crowd or large event. These barricades are durable and corrosion-resistant, making it a long-lasting and maintenance-friendly product built to withstand years of use and abuse.

Use

These lightweight, steel and aluminum barricade sections only require two people for set up and take down. Each section is equipped with the most effective, and yet the most simple, locking mechanism on the market, so that barricade walls of all sizes take only minutes to assemble.

Chair stops prevent non-fixed seating and chairs from sliding off the rear of platforms for added safety. Chair stops attach with a simple T-Handle tool and are available in black, silver or custom colors to match your design.

For a semi-permanent stage or seating riser system, a closure panel is a great choice. Closure panels are made of rigid materials such as aluminum, solid hardwood or veneer, and can even be made to match the top surface decking material.

Use

Closure panels are clipped to the side of the aluminum extrusion using an integrated clip system. Closure panels can be easily removed with a simple T-handle tool for tear-down, or for accessing space underneath a stage. Closure panels can be highly customized to match any area of a performance space.

Lighting

Optional Aisle Lighting can be integrated into Closure Panels to provide safety lighting for patrons along aisles and walkways. Available in a spectrum of colors, intensities and temperatures and design to meet local egress requirements.

Decorative skirting conceals the supports and understructure of a stage or seating riser providing a professional, finished appearance. Our stage skirting attaches with heavy duty Velcro and skirt clips for simple attachment and removal. Available in standard black or a variety of colors and patterns.

The Moda™ Seating Wagon incorporates a minimalist, highly-engineered design that provides a lightweight, yet sturdy seating solution for theatres and auditoriums. For busy performance venues, Moda™ is built with high-end casters to enable as few as two people to quickly and easily move into storage.

Rolling Drum Riser complements your performance stage set-up. Its understructure has dual-locking casters to keep the riser in place during your performance. When not in use, its understructure collapses for easy storage and transport. The Rolling Drum Riser is for use with our SC90 Platforms.

The Arena Cart is a high-capacity cart that can carry up to 12 platforms as ratchet straps hold them in place. Additionally, the push bar is able to be detached for faster and easier platform loading.

The SC100 Storage Cart stores SC100 frames on either a single hanger (pictured) or double hanger cart. Carts, made of welded steel tubes, provide easy storage and mobility for the SC100 Folding Bridge Frames.

The SC9600 Storage Cart stores all components of the support system. End frames hang from integral brackets, snap braces store within steel columns, and top plates store within built-in boxes for compact and efficient storage.

The Stackable Vertical Platform Cart transports up to 10 platforms per cart on edge for easy navigation through doorways and other tight spaces when not stacked. When stacked, the carts accommodate tight but tall storage spaces.

The SC90 Clarity Platform is constructed with an aluminum frame and 1" thick acrylic surface making it ideal for pool covers and applications where a glowing ambiance is desired. Designed to withstand harsh chemicals and elements of the outdoors.

Clima-Core® Platform is a weather-resistant platform, specially designed for outdoor use. This platform is constructed with the same level of strength and durability as our SC90® Platform, but designed to withstand the natural elements of the outdoors. The Clima-Core® platform is water resistant and will not rot, swell, warp or absorb moisture.

The SC90 Composite Platform features Composite Decking which is made from recycled materials, such as sawdust, plastic packaging, and reclaimed wood. This composite provides the appearance of a clean, wood finish without the maintenance.

The SC90 Platform is the cornerstone to Sightline's equipment line. Designed to meet a Class A fire rating and interlocking frames, the SC90 Platform creates a monolithic floor.

The SC97 Platform is an all-aluminum weather resistant deck used mainly in sports venues. It is engineered for strength and durability, but is lightweight as well. All decking and aisle steps are made of non-slip ribbed extruded aluminum. The SC97 is flexible and can be used with all of Sightline's support systems.

Custom-tailored to your venue or event's specific needs, ADA compliant or equipment ramps are designed with a slip-resistant surface, rigid supports and safety guardrail. Optional landings, continuous handrails, closure panels, cut-backs and finishes make our ramps the perfect solution.

The Adjustable Height Stair Unit can be easily modified to fit stages (or platform sections) that are adjustable in height. To secure the Adjustable Height Stair Unit in place, it includes a locking mechanism to attach quickly and firmly to Sightline Commercial Solutions' platforms.

The Economy Stair Unit provides a budget friendly stair option for fixed-height stages or elevated platforms.

The Fixed Height Stair Unit is available in a Formed Stair Unit (for lower fixed height stages) and a Raker Stair Unit (for taller fixed height stages) and can be custom manufactured to fit the height of your stage. Both styles of Fixed Height Stair Units include locking mechanisms that attach quickly and firmly to any of Sightline's platform

The Simple Step Unit is specifically designed for use with low elevation stages. It is an economical solution and the perfect complement to a stage constructed with SC90 platforms and low fixed height leg supports.

Point supported glass systems consist of discretely located stainless steel supports set in holes in the glass. These fittings can either be flush mounted or have button-type heads that sit above the glass surface.

Point supported glass systems are highly customizable and can be used in both weatherproof building enclosures, such as walls, canopies, and skylights, and in open-air systems such as guards, screen walls or accent walls.

Glass Treatments

Edge supported glass is similar to traditional curtain wall systems and consists of aluminum extrusions. Different extrusions can be custom designed based on the project's needs.

Considerations

To make custom extrusions suitable for architecturally sensitive jobs, the geometry and site conditions become a key factor. Varying extrusions may be needed in situations where multiple glazing support systems are being used and the implementation of an “off-the-shelf" curtain wall product may not apply.

Glass clamps consist of precisely located metal clamps attached to structural elements. The clamps can be positioned vertically or horizontally, and no holes or notches are required in the glass. Glass clamps are versatile and can be made weatherproof for faCade solutions, canopies, or skylights, or left open for guards or screen walls.

Glass fins consist of either laminated or monolithic glass, used in a specific orientation so that the glass is supporting loads, such as a structural beam. With glass fins, transparent structural glass can be used permitting walls, guards, or skylights to transfer additional light.

A huge part of venue sports viewing is the arrangement and setup of the stadium seating. While attending your favorite professional baseball team in the Northeast, fans may have noticed a recent concept/shift to an open-air premium hospitality suite, or Outdoor Loge Suite installed on the main concourse level.

Premium Loge suites have easy access to/from the main concourse and have been outfitted with many of the luxury amenities you would find in a standard closed air stadium suite. Amenities can include a wet bar, stainless steel appliances, flat screen televisions and granite countertops. The number of Loge suites on each of the 1st and 3rd base line range from three to five units, and can hold between eight and ten sport fans. That said those parameters can be easily modified by the client or architect to adhere to the stadium specific needs.

To create maximum flexibility in a larger facility, like a stadium or arena, a section of seating can be installed as an operable lift gate to provide access to the field for large equipment. When you want to quickly change your facility from a sports venue into a concert venue, creating access for trucks, cranes and forklifts often requires a lift gate for a fast set-up and takedown.
