Enhance Glass Surface Protection
Enhance™ by GGI is a coating designed to protect glass surfaces from corrosion caused by excessive exposure to water, high-humidity, minerals, dirt and other contaminants. Ideal for both commercial and residential glass applications, the coating can be applied to clear and ultra-clear low iron glass, keeping it looking clean and clear - as well as to all other glass types, resulting in a more hygienic solid surface material that is easier to clean and disinfect. While not antimicrobial, glass surfaces treated with Enhance are both hydrophobic (repels water) and oleophobic (repels oil) keeping the glass cleaner - for a longer period of time, and reducing the spread of germs and bacteria.
As a certified fabricator, GGI can apply this ultra-thin, permanent coating to one or both glass surfaces using X-Line High Speed automated coating equipment. The machine-applied coating process provides a more uniform, durable coating designed to provide a maximum level of protection. Limited life-time warranty for all interior applications. 10-year warranty for exterior applications.

ORNILUX provides bird protection without compromising thermal performance or light transmission.
Patterned Glass
Satin Etched Glass
Satin etched glass is ideal for a wide range of interior applications, including walls and office partitions, dividers, table tops, doors and door insets, staircases and railings, shower enclosures, and even floors.
The GGI Satin line of etched glass products offers a wide choice of patterns that add privacy to interior spaces while still allowing for excellent light transmission. All this with the convenience and elegance of a smooth glass surface that is easy to clean. The satin etch process results in a permanent, scratch resistant decorative pattern that is also fingerprint-resistant.
Our etched glass patterns are available as full-coverage flood or as discrete designs that decorate a specific part of the glass. Patterns can be applied to a single side of the glass or to both sides. The interplay of the double-sided satin etched pattern and the thickness of the glass creates a sense of depth.
Spandrel Glass
GGI is an Approved Factory Fabricator of OPACI-COAT-300®, an environmentally friendly water-based silicone coating manufactured by ICD High Performance Coatings + Chemistries. Ideal for spandrel glass and wall cladding, the OPACI-COAT-300® coating is used to produce glass solutions designed for non-vision applications. Spandrel glass is typically used on the building facade to obscure the view of mechanical systems, insulation, slab ends and other unsightly construction components. Spandrel glass can be used in insulating glass units along with the low-emissivity glass specified for a harmonious aesthetic - or, in contrast to the building envelope. OPACI-COAT-300® is available in a broad range of standard and custom colors. LEED and Health Product Declaration documentation, Mindful Materials library and AIA continuing education courses available.

As shared by the artist, Catherine Woods, the sculpture which is titled ‘Community DNA' is an abstracted guardian figure - a protector of the community. It was designed to represent the heroic dignity of the St. Petersburg Police Department (SPPD) and the department's commitment to the community. Inspired by ‘shield' shapes, modular forms comprise the abstract guardian figure. The shield has been used for centuries for protection and has a rich visual history. Like the ‘Thin Blue Line', this iconic form represents the SPPD as protection from harm.
The Children's National Annapolis Clinic was designed by Clockwork A & D with the intent to create an environment that is inviting and visually inspiring for the patients and their families, with plenty of daylighting. GGI was able to bring the local artists design to life using Alice® direct-to-glass printing. The ultra-clear glass substrate supports a lovely aesthetic that allows the highest level of visible light transmission and gives a soft opacity to the custom artwork.
