Since 1990, Geo Products has manufactured the EnviroGrid® geocell, cellular confinement system for soil stabilization, slope and channel erosion control and retaining walls. The honeycomb structure can be filled with various materials and provides a green construction solution. Manufactured by ultrasonically welded high-density polyethylene (HDPE), the geocell is designed for long term use and critical applications.

HOW IT WORKS:
The high-strength cell walls of the EnviroGrid® Geocell reinforce the system horizontally and vertically to prevent lateral movement of material, all while maintaining the shape and integrity of the structure.
HDPE (HIGH-DENSITY POLYETHYLENE):
EnviroGrid® is manufactured with virgin HDPE resin and each cell is welded together by full depth ultrasonic welds.
CUT COSTS ON INFILL:
Road base reinforcement applications allow for aggregates found locally, rather than importing material and can reduce the total depth needed, cutting costs even more.
The EnviroGrid® geocell uses cellular confinement technology to provide durable stabilization. The infill is confined through interconnected cells providing stabilization to once poor load-bearing soils.
The 3-D cells increase strength and stiffness of the infill, which boosts their weight-bearing capabilities, while also allowing the use of permeable aggregates.
EnviroGrid® provides a direct, cost-effective solution for poor load-bearing soils that create issues within transportation and construction. The high-strength cell walls maintain the shape and integrity of the structure, allowing for heavy loads without fear of lateral movement of the fill material.

EnviroGrid® effectively holds slope cover materials in place, reducing the potential for slope erosion. The EnviroGrid® geocells can be used in slopes as steep as 70 degrees and secured in place by our EnviroClip twist anchors or our tendon system.
EnviroGrid® allows channels to achieve a system that is not only resistant to erosion, but stable under the slope geometry and hydro-static uplift forces. EnviroGrid® can be laid directly on the slope, properly anchored, and filled with a various material based on the project's needs.
In situations where a slope is steeper than the soil alone would allow, EnviroGrid® can be stacked to create a gravity retaining wall. The structure stands by virtue of its weight and can be easily constructed with local aggregates. Gravity retaining walls have a degree of flexibility that allows them to be constructed over variable foundation soils without loss of structural stability.
