This high-performance “submerged aerated biological filter" provides proven treatment of residential (domestic-strength) wastewater installed either in an existing tank or for new construction. The RetroFAST® wastewater treatment systems are designed in 3 specific sizes for 1 to up to 8 persons living on the property. Ideal for upgrading a conventional septic system, the RetroFAST enhances or repairs an existing septic systems that have biologically failed. The RetroFAST® system inserts into an existing 18″ manhole without the need for heavy equipment. A very cost-effective solution that meets environmental standards with long term results.

Simple Works on Any Scale! Using MicroFAST® Systems solves most onsite wastewater treatment issues. This simple, low-cost, and robust technology is recommended for various residential/commercial property needs for any size from upgrading existing systems to new construction. With a small footprint, the MicroFAST system is integrated into a standard septic tank and does not require additional space. Naturally, the MicroFAST® offers higher levels of nitrogen removal (NSF/ANSI 245). With the SFR® feature, intermittent operation of the blower reduces electricity usage up to 45% and can provide improved nitrogen performance (in specific situations). MicroFAST enables cost-effective treatment with less maintenance than most other biological process treatment systems.

HighStrengthFAST® wastewater treatment systems are ideally suited for use in commercial properties such as restaurants, schools, trailer parks, office buildings and other high-strength waste applications. Commercial facilities are among the most challenging projects, often having biological loading (BOD) and Fat, Oil, and Grease (FOG) levels that are significantly higher than standard sanitary-strength sewage. Certain applications have additional challenges that affect the wastewater treatment system due to the unique characteristics. Wastewater treatment projects should always be designed with these challenges in mind and never on flow volumes alone.

Rainwater Filter Drain - d-Rain Joint™

As a Sustainable Drainage System (SuDS), the d-Rain Joint™ is a simple, low-cost, and robust onsite stormwater management alternative compared to other permeable, pervious surface options.


The d-Rain Joint™ device directs the surface rainwater to an installed drainage bed beneath the impervious, “hardscape" surface(s). Using low-cost, harder substrate, the solution to provide a permeable, pavement system (PPS) can be used wherever stormwater management requirements are needed for a driveway, parking lot, garage, large patio, community common areas and streets, pool areas, sports architecture, shopping or theme park developments, alleyways or public walkways.


The use of traditional concrete with the d-Rain Joint™ provides both permeability AND filtration with lower maintenance at a lower installed cost than a paver system! These d-Rain Joint™ devices allow the use of traditional concrete or other paver-type materials to construct a high-performing permeable, pervious surface system to put filtered rainwater in the underneath gravel detention area of the pavement; thus, increasing the usable surface, eliminating costly stormwater infrastructure or potential pollution hazards to urban ecosystems.

Pre-engineered stormwater treatment system removes trash, sediment, oil and other pollutants from stormwater runoff. The BioSTORM®'s unique off-line design consists of a patented StormTEE® self-cleaning deflector screen and a modular separation/coalescing unit, all housed in readily-available precast concrete tanks. The versatility of the system allows components to be used separately for different applications, or together to form a complete BioSTORM system. Various sizes are available depending on local site and environmental considerations.

Effluent Screening Device - SaniTEE®

SaniTEE® wastewater screens are now available in 4″, 8″ and 16″ sizes and provide consistent retention of wastewater solids for applications up to 20,000 gallons per day. Multiple SaniTEE screens can be used for flows above 20,000. SaniTEE® Wastewater Screens SaniTEE® self-cleaning wastewater deflection screens (commonly known as septic tank effluent filters) are designed to reduce suspended solids discharged in septic tank effluent by promoting natural sedimentation and excluding gas-lifted particles from entering the outlet pipe. Additionally, SaniTEE's patented keyhole weirs help to attenuate surge flows, delivering a more consistent flow for further treatment or dispersal. These features help extend the lives of drain fields, reduce the clogging of orifices in effluent disposal systems and allow flexibility in the use of different types of effluent pumps.

Fats, oils and greases (FOG) from restaurants, pubs, lounges, resorts, lodges and club houses are best managed at the source before entering either the city sewer system or an onsite wastewater treatment system. Typically installed under the counter, FOGHog® allows time for the warm liquid grease to separate, cool to solid form, and collect for removal, prior to it entering a treatment system. Made of 100% corrosion-resistant polyethylene and allows for components to remove easily for cleaning, the FOGHog® retains floatable substances, including: fats, oils, grease, soaps (lanolin) and waxes.

Specialty Clarifiers - ABC®

The ABC®-N denitrification device is designed primarily for use as a denitrification (nitrate reducing) device when exceptional levels of nitrogen reduction are required. A carbon feed system (by others) supplies a carbon source, and the ABC®-N promotes the growth of bacteria that denitrifies nitrified wastewater from most wastewater flows.


The ABC®-N system combines naturally occurring bacteria (biomass) with an external carbon source to denitrify wastewater that has been nitrified by an upstream aeration system such as FAST®. This is a continuous process provided; the biomass is supplied with food (carbon) and oxygen (nitrate molecule) in a suitable environment.

Normally, this greywater used once travels through the plumbing mixing with blackwater (from toilets or kitchen sinks) to be combined as the total wastewater accumulated on a property. Utilizing an enhanced, biological, unsaturated media filter process, the SeptiTech® STAAR™ Systems are ETV-EPA verified and NSF/ANSI Standard 40/245 certified. With a UV disinfection system and a low-impact technology for irrigating plants (or other non-potable use), the patented SeptiTech® STAAR™ filter systems are designed for direct discharge or water reuse in mind.


If your home or business is not connected to a central sewer system, you will need an onsite wastewater system. All your household wastewater will be collected and treated on the spot (on site). The treated effluent will be returned to the soil, and, after soil filtration, to the groundwater. Some components are common to all onsite systems. Others depend on your site conditions.
