Recreation & Safety Surfacing
We are the premier rubber playground surfacing company in the Western United States providing colorful, design-rich safety surfacing.
We have a singular focus: To provide innovative and high-quality rubber and synthetic turf surfacing options, installed by a knowledgeable and caring staff, backed by unparalleled customer service.
FlexGround Standard is our traditional, poured-in-place rubber safety surfacing. It is a two-layer system consisting of a cushioned base, composed of a high quality recycled cushion layer, and a top surface made of 1/2" urethane-adhered EPDM rubber granules. Each granule is 1-3 mm in size.
EnduraFlex is a superior poured-in-place rubber surface. It consists of two layers: a cushioned base and a surface layer of TPV granules (each granule being 1-4 mm). TPV is a vulcanized product, making it better equipped to withstand daily wear and tear and color fading from UV exposure.
UltraFlex is the highest quality, longest lasting rubber safety surfacing on the market. It is a poured-in-place two layer system, and uses a small granule (.5 - 1.5mm) TPV for the top surface wear course. Elevated urethane ratios bind the smaller granules together for a superior product.
Tired of dealing with excessive wear and tear in areas with heavy foot traffic? FlexGround's Xtreme Playground Surfacing line is the gold standard in attenuated playground surfacing. It has been specifically engineered to withstand the rigors and elements to which common playground surfacing is exposed, especially underneath swings, slides and other high impact areas. Utilizing a blend of industry recognized rubberized surfacing and infused with a proprietary mix of thermoplastic urethane and chemically resistant color coat, our Xtreme Playground line is your best defense against early-onset cracking and granulation.
Turn your boring playground surfacing into an attractive ground level interactive activity center that brings tons of play value to your playground. Playground mounds not only add aesthetic play value but they also improve kids motor skills and make daily exercise fun! Kids love climbing the hills and crawling through the tunnels!
FlexGrass is an IPEMA certified synthetic turf and poured-in-place rubber safety surfacing. It utilizes the same cushion-based sublayer as our rubber top systems. The top, or "wear" layer, is then set with some of the highest quality synthetic turf available.
This newly engineered grouting compound repairs and strengthens rubberized surfacing systems, and has been tested to withstand even the most extreme conditions. Tired of repairs to loose and granulated rubber in high-wear areas such as underneath swings or at slide exits? Installing a new pad and just want to make sure you don't have to deal with that inevitable hassle? FlexGrout is the perfect option for use in high-wear areas. The grouting compound works itself deep into the core of the rubber in order to reinforce the strength of the pad in areas subject to the most use and abuse. Even thousands of little feet are no match for FlexGrout!
FlexCoat is a urethane top dressing which may be applied to any rubber safety surface. Our FlexCoat urethane coating rebinds the rubber granules, improving the product's useful life. FlexCoat also rejuvenates and refreshes surface colors.
Finding holes in your previously applied rubber surtace FlexGround can quickly and easily repair minor and major damage. Small repairs can be made in various designs and colors (triangles, circles, happy faces etc.) in order to create the appearance that the repaired area was part of the original design.
FlexTop is the solution for widespread and severely damaged rubber. It consists of reapplying the EPDM or TPV top surface (and cushioning where needed). Flexlop will be applied 1/2"thick over top of the existing rubber to conceal any damage and maintain or improve critical fall height measures. Youll be amazed by the "'brand new"look of your surface!
Introducing PolySplash…FlexGround's latest innovation. PolySplash is the most durable, chlorine resistant and UV stable flexible surfacing on the market - a perfect blend between aesthetics and structure. It can be installed over concrete, asphalt, non-coated wood, patterned raw metal, rubber, foam and many other surfaces.
Unlike typical acrylic systems, KoolFlex's proprietary thermoplastic properties make it highly resistant to cracking, chipping, peeling and fading. It can also be installed right over existing damaged surfaces... no demolition needed.
FlexGround has worked closely with some of the industry's leading water play equipment manufacturers to offer an Xtreme Water Play line that is IPEMA certified. With the added cushion layer option, it can be used in conjunction with water play equipment that requires ASTM 1292 compliance for impact attenuation and meet all necessary skid requirements.
Introducing one of FlexGround's newest innovations, FlexTrail. It combines the flexibility of poured-in-place rubber surfacing with the durability of a bonded stone surface. The result is a highly aesthetic, wear-resistant surface engineered for use in high-traffic areas.
Courtscapes is an International Tennis Federation certified court surfacing designed specifically for high school and recreational speed tennis that can also be extended to basketball and other athletic courts. It is a proprietary blend of high grade polymers, TPV and natural stone engineered to withstand the heaving and cracking normally present on outside athletic courts. It can be custom designed to suit all needs.
This system is good for new installs or for resurfacing areas with little to no cracking. Minor cracking is repaired with a super bonding cementitious compound. The surface is coated with a high-grade durable and wear resistant color coating infused with slip resistance.
Cracking is repaired with a super bonding cementitious compound. An acrylic-based emulsion resurfacer is applied to maintain expansionary integrity and smoothing out rough asphalt or concrete surfaces. The surface is then coated with a wear-resistant, sand textured emulsion consisting of high quality pigments and polymers, producing a consistent speed of play for every court.
Cracking is repaired with a super bonding cementitious compound or rubber compound. A ½" - ¾" layer of TPV or EPDM colored granules is hand-troweled over the prepared surface. The rubber overlay provides slip resistance, increased flexibility and attenuation, while providing an efficient and aesthetically beautiful surface for court play.
