SDS Mechanical Assist
Spacefile's SDS Mechanical Assist system offers exceptional strength, durability and unrivaled versatility for an extensive range of applications. An innovative gear reduction and drive system enables easy, ergonomic and simultaneous movement of multiple heavy-loaded carriages for highly efficient and accessible storage. Spacefile's SDS Mechanical Assist carriages are built to endure the toughest conditions, no matter what the application.
Ergonomic & Accessible
Ergonomic 3-spoke hand-wheels with revolving handles contribute to low-effort accessibility, even when moving heavily-loaded carriages. Multiple gear ratio's are available to accommodate different weight-loading and carriage lengths to ensure easy, ergonomic and efficient accessibility for any application.
SDSm Manual
Spacefile's SDSm Manual system is a highly flexible, cost effective solution for light and medium load applications. Efficient movement is achieved by simply grasping on to the handle and moving side to side. Designed for high traffic and heavy use, SDSm carriages are engineered to endure the toughest conditions, no matter what the application. Advanced welded frame construction provides the highest degree of structural integrity, rigidity and durability compared to any other design. Large 3" solid steel wheels enable easy maneuverability and permanently sealed/lubricated ball-bearings ensure smooth long-lasting operation. SDSm carriages are finished with powder coat paint, providing a durable, hard surface with superior performance qualities.
SDSe Electrical Assist
A state of the art logic system for high-density mobile storage. Spacefile's electrical storage system has multiple security features, adjustable program settings and safety standards that exceed industry requirements. Spacefile's SDSe provides reliable, worry-free operation for a lifetime of use. Spacefile's SDSe system is a conglomeration of the highest quality components on the market, setting a new industry benchmark for strength and durability.
Like all the SDS family of products, the SDSe is modular in nature, adaptable for a variety of storage uses and comes in lengths of up to 60' long. The SDSe logic system allows for control and system security access through user operation or PC control.
Roll-Away II & III
Spacefile's Roll Away II & III is a versatile and cost effective solution for light load applications. A stationary row of shelving is located at the rear preceded by one or two laterally moving rows. This system comes complete with our unique demountable floating floor, allowing for installation on top of virtually any surface without being attached to the floor in any way. Heavy gauge steel welded carriages deliver maximum strength, rigidity and durability.
Mobile Racks - Art & Multi-Purpose
Spacefile's Mobile Art & Multi-Purpose Racks allow for convenient and efficient storage of suspended articles. Double sided panels allows for storage of objects on both sides of the screens. Racks are conveniently accessed by grabbing the aluminum handles and pulling units outward. The system comes complete with our unique demountable floating floor, allowing for installation on top of virtually any surface without being attached to the floor in any way. LT Adjustable Shelving
Spacefile's LT Adjustable Shelving offers exceptional strength, durability and unrivaled versatility for an extensive range of applications. LT Shelving incorporates both "L" & "T" shaped tubular uprights with interlocking keyholes on the interior for a clean, attractive appearance with no visible holes on the exterior of the uprights/posts. Stationary configurations are available that may be integrated with any of Spacefile's mobile storage systems.

Weapons cabinets components can be customized and shelving is interchangeable to store multiple weapon systems in one secure unit. Universal Demountable Track System
Spacefile's innovative demountable floating track system delivers the highest degree of modularity and flexibility compared to any other track design. Heavy gauge steel panels are utilized as decking between track channels for a uniform and even floor finish (plywood decking option also available).
3-Piece Low-Profile Track
Spacefile's innovative 3-piece low-profile track is a floor-less rail system requiring no decking. Tracks are anchored directly into the finished floor and are provided with unique ADA complaint ramps. Ramps are also capable of being pivoted to enable installation on uneven surfaces that would normally preclude the installation of conventional floor-less rail systems. Ideal for installation on raised access floors in which the tracks can be aligned directly on top load-bearing pedestals to optimally distribute weight.
1-Piece Low-Profile Track
A cost-effective floor-less rail system requiring no decking, in which tracks are anchored directly into the finished floor. Ideal for installation on raised access floors in which the tracks can be aligned directly on top load-bearing pedestals to optimally distribute weight.
Grouted Track
Spacefile's grouted tracks are permanently anchored to the floor and plywood is utilized as decking between track channels for a uniform and even floor finish. Sloped entry ramps at the access points to the system contribute to a fully accessible system. Most floor finishing materials can be integrated with the plywood decking, including carpet, tile, vinyl, VCT, and linoleum. Tracks and plywood decking is fully supported by non-shrink hydraulic grout for a sturdy foundation capable of withstanding immense loading.
Inlaid Track
Carriage rails are recessed into the concrete slab so that the top of the rails is level with the finished floor surface. Tracks are accurately leveled and fully supported to withstand immense loading. Ideal for new building construction projects where the concrete pour can be coordinated with the track installation. Tracks are also capable of being installed within depressions that are cut into pre-existing concrete slabs.

Spacefile has multiple decking options available for our Demountable Floating Floor Track and Grouted Track.
Track Choices
Spacefile's innovative track choices provide a solution for installation on virtually any surface. We are capable of installing any of our high density storage systems on top of raised access floors. For these types of applications, the track is required to sit directly on top of the load bearing pedestals of the raised floor system. Spacefile has experience working with raised flooring manufacturers to determine the required number of pedestals to support our systems. Spacefile has the capability to customize carriage wheel/rail positioning to align directly with the raised floor pedestals.Our innovative 3-piece and 1-piece aluminum tracks are ideal for installation on raised/access flooring. These track options require no decking and can be directly attached to the raised floor pedestals. Raised floor systems are typically manufactured to exact tolerances and are precisely leveled, allowing for simple installation of our tracks with no shimming required. Our innovative 3-piece track is fully ADA compliant while our 1-piece aluminum track is an economical alternative.

Tambour Doors
Spacefile's Tambour Doors are designed to efficiently secure valuables and sensitive information in an easily accessed and aesthetically pleasing storage system. Conveniently roll shutters up for access and back down to create a secure wall that restricts access. A unique and adaptable design allows for full integration with any of Spacefile's shelving products as well as third-party shelving.
Pegboard
Spacefile's innovative metal pegboard uprights are constructed from 18 gauge steel and are completely integrated with our storage systems. Spacefile's end panels are designed to receive standard pegboard hooks for hanging accessory storage. Low VOC powder coat paint finish provides a smooth yet, highly durable and attractive appearance. Drawers
Spacefile has a wide variety of pull out drawers available in virtually any size for top-tab file storage, general storage applications or custom drawer sizes.
Spacefile's pull out drawers can be incorporated with any of Spacefile's shelving products or added to pre-existing systems to adapt to changing storage needs.
Standard drawer slides have a load bearing capacity is 150 lbs. however, custom drawer slides can be designed for alternate load capacities.
Slotted Dividers
Spacefile file dividers are formed from 20 gauge cold rolled steel and powder coated for a durable, attractive appearance. Our file dividers are available as slotted, magnetic or permanent fixtures.
Slotted Dividers:
Slotted file dividers can be incorporated with Spacefile LT and Cantilever shelving. Dividers are punched to include two tabs on the base and one located on the rear. File dividers require back, center stops and slotted shelves.
Magnetic Dividers
Magnetic dividers can be added to any of Spacefile's standard shelving systems as well as third party metal shelving.
Welded Dividers
Permanent dividers are available with Spacefile's ThinLine shelving and are welded in place for a durable and attractive appearance.
Reference Shelves
Reference shelves are available for integration with any of Spacefile's shelving products and have the flexibility to be added to pre-existing systems or configured to adapt to your changing storage needs. Standard reference shelves have a load bearing capacity is 100 lbs, however custom drawer slides with alternate load capacities are also available for heavier use.
Boxes
Archival paper records need to be stored in a secure environment and properly managed to ensure easy and quick access. Spacefile's archive boxes and banker boxes are designed to ensure document protection and easy access. The industrial strength recycled cardboard storage boxes available from Spacefile. Every box has a Velcro pad lid to keep it securely closed, curved handles and a rounded front panel to allow for easy maneuvering. Boxes are delivered flat packed and are easy to assemble with instructions printed on every box. Boxes are self-locking with no need for tape or glue. Spacefile's Archival boxes are made from 95% recycled cardboard.
Label holders
All Spacefile high density mobile carriages are provided with attractive aluminum label holders to help identify aisle contents.
Mail Slot Inserts
Spacefile's mail slot Inserts offer an efficient and accessible solution for organizing mail and other paperwork. Constructed from welded steel for a solid, rigid assembly our mail slots come in many different sizes. Mail slots are finished with a low VOC, durable power coat paint, and are available in 12 standard colors or eco-friendly or custom colors.

Powder Coat Paint Finishes
All Spacefile metal products are finished with powder coat paint, providing a durable hard surface with superior performance qualities. Powder coating provides excellent abrasion, impact, corrosion, stain, and chemical resistance, exceeding stringent scruff, scratch and chip requirements of the American Library Association. Powder coat paint also emits negligible VOC's (volatile organic compounds) for a cleaner, healthier indoor environment. Paint is available in any of our 12 standard colours, our eco-friendly paint option and custom.
Anti-microbial powder coat option is available to protect against the growth and migration of micro-organisms including bacteria and fungi. Anti-microbial powder coat is ideal for hospitals, food service and packaging areas, pharmaceutical labs, childcare facilities and anywhere else requiring highly sterile surfaces. Sterilcoat AM Antimicrobial powder coat is formulated to significantly reduce microbial activity and provide protection over an extended period of time and frequent washings. Anti-microbial power coat is available in our full range of powder paint colours as well as custom.
