A college-preparatory public charter school in New Haven, Connecticut, Amistad High uses Alice direct-to-glass printing to display artwork of various civil rights leaders. The building replaces the former Martin Luther King Elementary School, which displayed similar artwork that was painted directly on the facade. Wanting to preserve the images and continue to honor these inspiring individuals, Alice® direct-to-glass printing was chosen to print the images directly on glass, allowing for a permanent finish that is protected from the elements.
