| | Platon Foundation Protector has been in use in North America since 1991 and Norway since 1970. Builders and homeowners alike report virtually ZERO leaks. Platon Foundation Protector can be used on all types of foundations - Poured concrete, block, or ICF without the need for any other treatment to the wall surface. Platon is also ideal for exterior retrofit projects where new drain tile is being installed. As with all foundation waterproofing systems, Platon requires proper installation and operation of foundation footing drains to remove any water that gets behind the membrane.
CertainTeed Platon is a tough, durable, high-density polyethylene (HDPE) waterproofing membrane that provides superior moisture protection for all types of foundations in residential basement applications.
The dimpled 24-mil membrane wrap separates water from the foundation wall and permanently bridges foundation cracks, preventing moisture from entering the basement of a home.
CertainTeed Platon can be installed under all weather conditions, and does not require a special crew or equipment. Installation is fast and easy, thanks to Platon Speedclip fasteners that need only one nail to secure to the wall, or Speedclip fasteners.
CertainTeed Platon works in conjunction with CertainTeed's Form-A-Drain or conventional drain tile to keep basements dry and healthy. |

| | 3.1 | EXAMINATION |
