          C.Selection Samples: For each finish product specified, two complete sets of color chips representing manufacturer's full range of available colors and patterns.
          D.Verification Samples: For each finish product specified, two samples, minimum size 6 inches (150 mm) square representing actual product, color, and patterns.
          A.Manufacturer Qualifications: Minimum 10 year experience manufacturing all products specified in this section with the capacity to produce and deliver required materials without causing delay in work, and capable of providing field service representation during construction.
          B.Installer Qualifications: Minimum 5 year experience installing similar products and certified in writing by the manufacturer.
          C.Source Limitations: Obtain primary materials including primers, patching agents, resins, hardening agents, colorants, and top coats from single source from single manufacturer.
          ** NOTE TO SPECIFIER ** Include a mock-up if the project size and/or quality warrant taking such a precaution. The following is one example of how a mock-up on a large project might be specified. When deciding on the extent of the mock-up, consider all the major different types of work on the project. Delete if not required.
          D.Mock-Up: Provide a mock-up for evaluation of surface preparation techniques, aesthetic effects and application workmanship.
          1.Finish areas designated by Architect.
          2.Construct at least one month before start of work.
          3.Mock-Up shall be on site in areas designated by architect.
          4.Retain samples of all materials used in each mock-up for comparison purposes.
          5.Do not proceed with work prior to receipt of written acceptance of mock-up.

          6.Approved mock-up may remain part of finished work.

          A.Convene a conference approximately two weeks before scheduled commencement of the Work. Attendees shall include Architect, Contractor and trades involved. Agenda shall include schedule, responsibilities, critical path items and approvals.
          A.Deliver and store products in manufacturer's unopened packaging bearing the brand name and manufacturer's identification until ready for installation.
          B.Store and handle in strict compliance with manufacturer's written instructions and recommendations.
          C.Protect from damage due to weather, excessive temperature, and construction operations.
          A.Maintain environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, and ventilation) within limits recommended by manufacturer for optimum results. Do not install products under environmental conditions outside manufacturer's recommended limits.
          B.Schedule placement to minimize exposure to wind and hot sun before curing materials are applied. Maintain access for vehicular and pedestrian traffic as required for other construction activities.
          C.Cold-Weather Concrete Placement shall followACI 306 R. Protect concrete work from physical damage and/or reduced strength that could be caused by rain, frost, snow, or freezing temperatures.
          D.Hot-Weather Concrete Placement shall followACI 305 R.
          A.Ensure that products of this section are supplied to affected trades in time to prevent interruption of construction progress.

          A.Do not begin installation until substrates have been properly prepared.
          B.If substrate preparation is the responsibility of another installer, notify Architect of unsatisfactory preparation before proceeding.
          A.Clean surfaces thoroughly prior to installation.
          B.Prepare surfaces using the methods recommended by the manufacturer for achieving the best result for the substrate under the project conditions.
          C.Subgrade to receive stamped concrete paving work shall be well drained and have adequate, uniform loadbearing characteristics.
          1.Verify grading will ensure a uniform concrete thickness during concrete placement.
          D.Verify that subgrade is moist, completely consolidated, and free from frost. If necessary, subgrade may be dampened with water prior to placement; however, freestanding water or soft, muddy, or frozen ground in not permissible.
          E.Perform concrete placement in accordance with 03300 and Stamped Concrete Paving manufacturer's recommendations.
          A.Install in accordance with manufacturer's instructions and approved submittals.
          B.Begin imprinting immediately after applying dry-shake colored hardener.
          C.Apply dry-shake colored hardener evenly at specified application rate to freshly floated concrete surface. Verify that no bleed water is present.
          1.Apply in two applications in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations.
          D.Perform imprinting in accordance with manufacturer's instructions, including application of antiquing release agent.
          A.Surface Preparation: Surface shall be dry and clean of dust, dirt, oils, and other surface contaminants.
          1.Verify that release agent has been removed.
          2.Verify that moisture content of concrete is low enough that alkali and other salts do not become trapped beneath sealer.
          3.Verify that there is no evidence of free water on concrete surfaces.
          B.Seal imprinted concrete with liquid membrane curing and sealing compounds as recommended by manufacturer:
          1.Apply two coats of specified curing and sealing compound according to manufacturer's written instructions.
          A.Prohibit foot or vehicular traffic on the newly imprinted concrete surface.
          B.Protect installed products until completion of project.
          C.Touch-up, repair or replace damaged products before Substantial Completion.
