          B.Product Data: Manufacturer's data sheets on each product to be used, including:

          3.Installation methods.
          4.Test and evaluation reports.
          C.Operation and Maintenance Data: Including, but not limited to, methods for maintaining installed products and precautions against cleaning materials with methods detrimental to finishes and performance.
          D.Sustainable Design Submittals: Provide product data to document percentage of recycled content.
          E.Manufacturer's Certificates: Certify products meet or exceed specified requirements.
          A.All primary products specified in this section shall be supplied by a single manufacturer with a minimum of ten years' experience.
          B.Manufacturer Qualifications: ISO 9001 certified with a minimum 15 years experience and capable of providing field service representation.
          C.Installer Qualifications: Minimum 3 years verifiable experience or Concrete Earth confirmation of successful application training; and a Testing Agency per ISO/IEC Standard 17025 or ASTM E699 and ASTM E329.
          1.Source Limitations: Obtain penetrating colloidal concrete treatment through one source from a single manufacturer.
          D.Preinstallation Meeting: Before installation, convene a meeting with the Contractor, installer, installers of adjacent work and work penetrating waterproofing, and the manufacturer's representative to verify project requirements, substrate conditions, manufacturer's installation instructions, and manufacturer's warranty requirements. Notify the Owner and Architect and/or Engineer at least one week in advance of meeting.
          A.Deliver products in manufacturer's unopened packaging bearing the brand name and manufacturer's identification until ready for installation.
          B.Store materials protected from exposure to harmful weather conditions and at temperature conditions recommended by manufacturer.
          C.Protect products from exposure to direct sunlight and rain.
          A.Ensure that products of this section are supplied to affected trades in time to prevent interruption of construction progress.
          A.Maintain environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, and ventilation) within limits recommended by manufacturer for optimum results.
          1.Allow surfaces and product to attain a temperature of 36 degrees F (2 degrees C) and rising before proceeding with curing application.
          2.Do not apply curing compound unprotected during periods of exposure to high winds.
          A.Manufacturers Product Warranty: Provide manufacturer's standard limited warranty.
          PART 2PRODUCTS

          ** NOTE TO SPECIFIER ** Delete one of the following two paragraphs; coordinate with requirements of Division 1 section on product options and substitutions.
          B.Substitutions: Not permitted.
          C.Requests for substitutions will be considered in accordance with provisions of Section 01 60 00 - Product Requirements.
          ** NOTE TO SPECIFIER ** INPERVIUS provides a more workable, much less permeable, stronger, and more durable concrete without additional changes in mixing, placing, finishing, or curing. INPERVIUS treated concrete does not require any additional effort in mixing, placing, finishing, or curing and represents a fractional additional cost to the end-user.
          A.Performance Requirements:
          1.Concrete mixes shall be designed in accordance with ACI 211.
          2.Concrete shall be "fit for use" per the applicable Guides, Manuals, Specifications, and/or Standards of the following ACI Manual of Concrete Practice series:
          a.ACI 300 Series - Design and Construction Practices.
          b.ACI 500 Series - Special Products and Processes.
          3.Permanent integral waterproofing and moisture vapor block.
          4.Superior cure with added anti-corrosive properties.
          5.A surface ready to accept adhesives, coatings, and/or underlayments.
          6.Permanent prevention of scaling and spalling on exposed concrete surfaces.
          7.VOC Limits: As tested using a Gas Chromatograph/Mass Spectroscopy as defined by South Coast Air Quality Management District Rules: In areas where exposure to freeze/thaw conditions and direct exposure to moisture will not occur.
          8.SCAQMD Rule 1113, Architectural Coatings.
          B.Concrete Hydration Optimizer:
          ** NOTE TO SPECIFIER ** INPERVIUS Admix is added to the mix water prior to mixing it with cement, which results in a distinct advantage of being present at the exact same moment water and cement make contact. This significantly improves the hydrolysis reaction's by-product quality, such as calcium hydroxide. The use of INPERVIUS ensures only the finest quality cement paste attainable is being initially produced. This high-quality paste immediately begins coating aggregates, which significantly improves the concrete's final paste-to-aggregate bond quality. Ultimately, this produces a much higher quality concrete installation, both externally and internally.
          1.Basis of Design: INPERVIUS Admix, integral moisture vapor reducing additive as manufactured by Concrete Earth LLC. Greatly increases natural cement hydration, minimizing free water and resulting capillaries, and greatly enhances aggregate zone paste formation.
          a.Slightly opaque, odorless, non-toxic, and non-flammable proprietary admixture.
          b.Added directly to mix water, prior to adding cement, sand and aggregate.
          c.Water Ratio: Subject to the approved concrete mix design.
          d.High Performance Concrete Properties Due to Admixture:
          1)Concrete Compression Strength: Increases by 10 percent minimum.
          2)Increase in Flexural Strength: Increases 8 percent minimum.
          3)Permeability Reduction: Greater than 85 percent.
          4)Greatly improved resistance to damage from deicing salts and freeze-thaw cycles.
          5)Permanent control of vapor emissions.
          6)Allows for higher water to cement ratios.
          7)Replaces water reducers and plasticizers.
          8)Easily pumps at 6" slump without plasticizer.
          ** NOTE TO SPECIFIER ** INPERVIUS CURE promotes the highest performance potential of a specific concrete mix design, and minimize concrete's permeability to permanently waterproof and stop moisture vapor emissions. Added benefits include greater workability, faster and easier finishing, along with all of the strengths gains normally found in high performance concrete.
          C.Concrete Curing Agent:
          1.Basis of Design: INPERVIUS Cure as manufactured by Concrete Earth LLC. A green-tinted, clear drying, odorless, non-toxic, and non-flammable penetrant in a colloidal liquid base containing anti-corrosive agents.
          a.Penetrates concrete substrates to protect embedded steel.
          b.Chemically reacts with free alkali components in concrete, further decreasing permeability by greater than 90 percent.
          A.Do not begin installation until substrates have been properly prepared.
          B.If substrate preparation is the responsibility of another installer, notify Architect of unsatisfactory preparation before proceeding.
          A.Clean surfaces thoroughly prior to installation.
          B.Prepare surfaces using the methods recommended by the concrete coating and sealer manufacturer for achieving the best result for the substrate under the project conditions.
          C.Protection: Protect walls and surrounding surfaces not to receive finish.
          A.Install in accordance with Concrete and Sealer Manufacturer's instructions.
          1.Curing Compound Application:
          a.Apply cure treatment as soon as the concrete is hard enough for foot traffic or other surface loading without damage to the surface.
          ** NOTE TO SPECIFIER ** Delete sprayer option not required.
          1)Sprayer: Low pressure, high volume sprayer with a mechanical pump.
          2)Sprayer Capacity: Less than or equal to 1,500 psi (10342 kPa).
          3)Sprayer Application Pressure: 300 to 600 psi (2068 to 4136 kPa).
          4)Application Rate: Approximately 250-300 sq ft per gallon.
          a)Second Application Rate: Approximately 350 to 400 sq ft per gallon (8.6 to 9.8 sq m per L). A second application may be needed for exceptionally porous concrete.
          b.Allow 21 days before applying additional flooring substrate and finishes.
          2.Very Hot Weather and Direct Sunlight Conditions: Re-apply curing compound as needed to ensure surface sheathing for at least 15-20 minutes. Follow with a fine spray of water on the surface to help alleviate premature chemical surface reaction and/or drying from taking place prior to achieving maximum penetration.
          A.Clean concrete in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations.
          B.Protect installed surfaces until completion of project.
          C.Protect concrete surfaces from foot traffic until properly cured.
          D.Touch-up, repair or replace damaged areas before Substantial Completion.
