          1.Steel Siding: CS Type B, 29 gauge, .015 inch (0.38 mm) thick galvanized steel coil complying with ASTM A653, and ASTM G60; 6 to 10 ounce zinc/square foot. Zinc coated on both sides a continuous hot dipped galvanizing method. Recycled Steel: 70 percent.
          a.Factory formed with a nailing flange to interlock securely with successive courses.
          b.Tensile Strength: 47,000 to 57,000 psi (324 to 393 Mpa).
          c.Yield Strength: 30,000 to 55,000 psi (205 to 380 Mpa).

          PART 3EXECUTION
 
          3.1EXAMINATION
 
          A.Do not begin installation until substrates have been properly constructed and prepared.
 
          B.Verify weather barrier installation is complete and ready for the installation of aluminum siding.
 
          C.If substrate preparation is the responsibility of another installer, notify Architect in writing of unsatisfactory preparation before proceeding.
 
          3.2PREPARATION
 
          A.Clean surfaces thoroughly prior to installation.
 
          B.Prepare surfaces using the methods recommended by the manufacturer for achieving the best result for the substrate under the project conditions.
 
          3.3INSTALLATION
 
          A.Install in accordance with manufacturer's instructions approved submittals and in proper relationship with adjacent construction.
 
          B.Installation of vapor retarder is specified in Section 07 27 19 - Plastic Sheet Air Barriers .
 
          C.Install flashings overhead condition of openings as indicated on Drawings. Lap weather barrier over flashing
 
          D.Attach to substrate for weathertight installation; ensure that horizontal components are installed true to level, that vertical components are installed true to plumb.
 
          E.Stagger lap joints in horizontal siding in uniform pattern as successive courses of siding are installed.
 
          F.Install joint sealers are specified in Section 07 90 00 - Joint Protection.
 
          3.4ADJUSTING AND CLEANING
 
          A.Clean dirt from surface of installed products, using mild soap and water.
 
          B.After completing installation, remove from project site excess materials and debris resulting from installation of vinyl products.
 
          3.5CLEANING AND PROTECTION
 
          A.Clean products in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations.
 
          B.Touch-up, repair or replace damaged products before Substantial Completion.
